About
Our Central Florida Airboat Ride is approximately 1 hr to 1 hr & 15 minutes. The boat is set up where everyone has a great view. Ear protection is provided for everyone and we have life vests for the kids. Under 6 is required by law to wear. What to bring: recommend sunglasses and extra layer or jacket during cooler weather. Camera, plenty of opportunities so don't forget that! Capt. Kevin & Capt. Barrett are native Floridians, born and raised on Lake Kissimmee. The tour takes your group along the shoreline of the 3rd largest lake, through the back-water marshes and around a unique fresh water island. The boat is equipped with audio communication headsets.

This was a fabulous excursion. Kevin was VERY knowledgeable about the various animal life and the alligators. He knew all the best spots to see them and to explain to us their habits. The highlight for me was getting to an area that had an alligator mother with multiple ages of her family from 4-5 month olds up to 3 year olds. The airboat ride is a lot of fun and all seats had good view options. The interactive headsets really helped with being able to ask questions and for Kevin to guide where we should look. This trip was excellent and worth every penny we paid.

Booked an airboat tour with Grape Hammock and had a blast. Capt Barrett took very good care of us and was a great tout guide. We got to see multiple gators, abundant water birds and even seen two buffalos on Lake Kissemmee. Everyone on the boat had a headset to speak back and forth and to also hear the history of the area. Highly recommend to anyone in the Central Florida area.

Always a great ride and tour ! It’s our “Go To “ whenever we have company so I’ve been on this tour many times ! Both brothers are equally amazing at picking out Eagles, gators, and beautiful birds Bison in knee high water, deer, from long distances, long before we all see them ! The boats are fun and they give you a wild ride while still keeping it safe! Smaller boats , so your not crammed in with 20 people ! Love Grape Hammock . Lovely family

This airboat tour is so great! You get to see so much natural beauty. There are birds everywhere, so much aquatic flora, and little baby gators all over the place. We loved it! They bill it as the Real Florida, and it's true. Out on the lake, you see a side of Florida that's not really what shows up in pop culture imaginings of Florida. It's so beautiful and I highly recommend the tour!

This is one of our favorite activities and we go at least once a year. The ride is fun and exciting. There are lots of beautiful birds and alligators. We most always see a bald eagle, deer, buffalo and other interesting sights. The kids favorite part of the ride is when the driver spins the airboat!

What an amazing ride! The weather could not have been any better! This is a wonderful family run operation, with our captain the third generation! We saw so many birds, alligators, cows, bison and so much more! Captain Barret was very knowledgeable, having grown up on Lake Kissimmee. He knew all the birds, the different deer populations and right where to find the alligators sunning on shore! We will definitely take this trip again!

This was "The Best" airboat ride, I've ever experienced. Our guide was very informative and funny as well. We saw so much wildlife including on our ride. Grape Hammock never disappoints. Thank you JC for making our ride great even with the chilly temperatures. It was voted by our group as the best highlight of our River Ranch weekend getaway.

Amazing experience!!! A must do while in the area!!! Our tour guide was awesome, head sets were amazing! The view of wildlife was pointed yes out to us each time the guide saw something of interest!! Amazing!!

My wife & I went and 4 other people were on the ride. Very informative and fun. The exotic animals we saw on Brahma Island were unique and cool, plus the variety of birds we saw was incredible. Being Floridians, seeing all the alligators was pretty neat, not not the same as it is for "Yankees" who've never seen them. But it was a great trip that I would recommend to any and all.

We Love going air-boating every time we come over to Florida & Grape Hammock is the BEST... We Love it & all the team there. We had a great ride out with Barrett very exhilarating & saw a lot of wildlife including alligators, bald eagles, deer, birds etc etc. Barrett made the whole ride memorable & we will be back again next year. If you haven't been before then go for it & if you have then go here as it is the best.. Thanks Guys
