Very nice mostly covered trails. We see wildlife frequently, and the trail runs right behind the pasture of the cracker ponies! (They like to come up to visit...sometimes rather quickly!). Beautiful scenery and about a six mile trail. Ample parking and just a nice, easy ride!

I went there for an afternoon in the park. Having had my bicycle in the back of my Jeep I left the car at the entrance and biked the whole park. The wildlife is so astonishing, there were deer and wild turkeys amongst many others. And they were easy to be approached. I could come as close as a couple... More

Our first experience at this park was exceptional. The park is beautiful and the campground is quiet and very well run. I've never seen such clean restrooms and showers.

We visited with family on 1/15/2017. We had a large group, which was accommodated by a picnic pavilion. The bathrooms were very clean. The scenery makes for beautiful back drops for pictures. The view from lookout tower was beautiful, I have submitted a photo of the view. We also saw 2 deer on the way out. Others in our party... More

Great access and easy paddling into Lake Kissimmee from the State Park. No bass caught on this trip but that's fishing. There is also fishing from the shore along the channel leading into the lake with picnic tables and lots of shade trees.

First camping trip to Lake Kissimmee State Park, visited Park New Years Weekend 2017 (12/30/2016-1/2/2017), campground was full but very peaceful with huge sites and large natural breaks between campsites, you do not even hear your neighbors, lots of pathways to very well kept bath houses. Park has small store with daytime hours, nice marina, boat ramps were busy! Plenty... More

We spent New Year's Eve here and had a blast! From the observation tower we watched the sun set and then returned (at the recommendation of a park ranger) later on to see the stars. It was incredible! We could see fireworks from a distance and were thrilled to enjoy the tranquility. Campsites were awesome! Size was beyond all expectations,... More

My husband and I have stayed at Lake Kissimmee State Park three times in the last year. It is by far one of our favorites. Nice big camp sites. The wild life is awesome. This has, by the cleanest bath houses ever and convenient. Met some really nice folks too. Will definitely go there again.

Camped here over thanks giving weekend. The Park is Beautiful with great hikes, a handy concession stand, docks, playground, observation tower and pavilion. The Campsites are very nice, most were huge and with some privacy. The Showers and toilets were very clean. Would be my favorite State Park if it wasn't for the airboats! So just to be clear, the...
