We came for a March weekend and had a great time. The weather helped, and we slept without the rain cover on and enjoyed a great look at the stars at night. Mosquitos weren't too bad the first night, but bad enough the second. Each site was spacious, with water and electric hook-ups, and easy access to the central bathrooms... More

Went for a drive and ended up here! Sure glad we did. The park is a great place to spend the day. Super clean and everyone we encountered where extra friendly! Cow Camp is a must spot to visit while there! Sit down with the Cow Hunter and share a cup of campfire coffee while visiting about the job, and... More

We spent much of the morning canoeing in the Zipprer canal in the park. It was very quiet and we saw lots of birds. The observation tower near Lake Kissimmee was cool too.

Four nights secured here @ Lake Kissimmee State Pk. campground. There are TWO loops, each with 30 well defined campsites. Paved roadways branch off to 'shell' surfaced sites. Most sites are amongst heavy vegitation of low palm fronds, live oak, and tall pines. Very nice. Rest rooms are located in the center of each camp loop. They are clean and... More

There are a lot of hiking trails, also a small marina, and fishing at the marina. Also a 3 story observation deck with the lake being pretty far away. A little park area for kids to play.

Very nice mostly covered trails. We see wildlife frequently, and the trail runs right behind the pasture of the cracker ponies! (They like to come up to visit...sometimes rather quickly!). Beautiful scenery and about a six mile trail. Ample parking and just a nice, easy ride!

I went there for an afternoon in the park. Having had my bicycle in the back of my Jeep I left the car at the entrance and biked the whole park. The wildlife is so astonishing, there were deer and wild turkeys amongst many others. And they were easy to be approached. I could come as close as a couple... More

Our first experience at this park was exceptional. The park is beautiful and the campground is quiet and very well run. I've never seen such clean restrooms and showers.

We visited with family on 1/15/2017. We had a large group, which was accommodated by a picnic pavilion. The bathrooms were very clean. The scenery makes for beautiful back drops for pictures. The view from lookout tower was beautiful, I have submitted a photo of the view. We also saw 2 deer on the way out. Others in our party... More
