Bok Tower Gardens was gifted to the American people in 1929. Built on one of the highest hills in Florida it is definitely worth seeing. The story of the founder, his vision & execution are so interesting. The visitor center has a great collection of exhibits to view before touring the gardens. We walked the entire trail about 2.5 miles. The grounds are so beautiful & peaceful. The easy fairly level trail is bordered by lush flora & fauna with plenty of shading. There were some plants we had never seen before but thankfully signs were posted with descriptions. The window by the pond was so serene. The entry was $15 per person. …

If you haven’t been to Bok Tower recently, our visit today was great! We last visited 9 years ago. The first section we visited was the Children’s Garden...for kids of all ages. Lots of hands on learning opportunities with the song 🎶 tree area, a birds nest, fairy houses, spider web for climbing and so much more. Wonderful leisurely walking, lots of places to sit in shade or sun. Very nice visitor Center as well. Arrived at 10:30AM and stayed for the carillon concert at 1PM, which lasted a bit longer than 30 minutes. …
