- Frank1954Dunnville, Canada12 contributionsWell worth the visit! We were looking for a different experience. Saw an ad in a local guide for Capone’s dinner show. We weren’t disappointed. Good portion of Italian food served prior to the show. Endless drinks, (alcohol or non-alcohol ) during dinner and the show. Lively stage production with a Mafioso theme. Audience participation is included and encouraged. Friendly staff makes it a great evening out!Visited January 2024Traveled with familyWritten January 29, 2024
- lori8146Brewster, New York150 contributionsGreat Dinner Show! The show was so much fun! A lot of laughs, and just the right amount of audience engagement. We really enjoyed it! The dinner service I would not rate as high, but it’s a great value for the tickets considering how much fun the show is. The food came out a little rushed, salads and meals together, the food itself a bit cold. The waitstaff and performers were awesome. I will definitely go back!Visited February 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten February 20, 2024
- Flo S3 contributionsSpeakeasy sass and shinola - no shootinJust got back to the resort from attending Capone's Dinner and Show. Wow - just Wow! This speakeasy got it all going on, from the secret knock and password to the drop jaw gorgeous cast and crew. Our waiter, Stache (and yes, he wears one) was awesome. I dressed the part and showed up to kill or be killed (metaphorically speaking 20s style) and Stache took it all in stride. We hooted and hollered, and a great time was had by all. Oh yeah, the food ain't half bad either. Whether you're on the run from G-Men, or just chillin by your bathtub full of gin, stow your Tommy gun and take in the show at Capone's.Visited February 2024Traveled with familyWritten February 28, 2024

Four of us went to this show on a Thursday. We purchased the VIP tickets which starts at 6:00pm and ends close to 10:00pm. The VIP tickets gets you a free drink and some Italian appetizers before the show. The food is an Italian buffet with pizza, lasagna, spaghetti, Italian sausage and pork, beef and turkey roasts. Food was OK and definitely filling. Some select drinks including beer was free all night. The show is about 90 minutes. We thought the singing was very good, the comedy was fair but overall the show was entertaining and worth the price of admission.

This was so much fun. Definitely spend the little extra and get the VIP tickets. Purchase all tickets on line in advance for the 50% discount. VIP gets you in early, seated first, amazing buffet, and all you can drink during the show. The show itself is upscale, slapstick comedy for the whole family. Ask for waiter named Vito. He is excellent. I believe they actually went back in time to the 1920s and pulled him to work this show. He is awesome. We will definitely return.

This is the third time my wife and I have attended the show. When we bring friends down on vacation with us we make a point of getting reservations. The cast and crew members are great and interact with the audience making this a memorable time for all. I highly recommend it if your looking for a fun evening.

We attended on March 17, 2021.
Once we finally got in the service at the bar & our table were good. The show was fun. The Rum Runner punch was good - not strong. The drink service was pretty consistent and I did not ever end up with an empty glass.
The food was average. It was not buffet/all you can eat. The chicken was kind of dry.
The bad...they called us early in the day and insisted we should be there by 5:45pm to enjoy all of our VIP benefits. We arrived about 6pm and had to wait in line about 30 minutes to get admitted to the building. There was a large party that arrived to the line after us but was let in well before us in line because one person was on a motorized scooter. The party in line in front of us had a guest on one & they did not get in out of order. They only admitte one party at a time because they have a vendor doing pictures. The show was late starting and we did not get to see the end as we had to leave around 9:30pm. The manager did not seem to care that customers were lined up on the sidewalk in the heat so they could take pictures & squeeze another $30 out of the guests.

This place was incredibly disgusting as a whole. The first girl you met that came outside to take people in openly spoke to 'not giving a crap' about covid and what people do in line before they come in. There's signs that say no smoking in line while waiting to get in, and guess what, there were 5 separate people smoking in line. The signs they have to lead you through the line are trashy hand written directions that looks like your 7 year old daughter wrote them on some construction paper. See the pictures. Once you get in, it seems fine, but half the speakers are broken so you can't even hear the show. Which, the show, by the way, started 45 minutes late. The beer was lukewarm and you can tell the beer lines were not cleaned often. The mixed drinks were watered down significantly. The food was atrocious. I asked my wife if she would pay 5 dollars for the meal and she said 'hell no'. The salad was pitiful, the appetizer was pitiful (old frozen fried ravioli), and of course the main course met expectations for also being pitiful. Since we couldn't hear the show, we left after about 20 minutes after the show started because of how terrible it was. The show didn't even look remotely interesting from what we could see. Once I went to the bathroom it was really the last straw. See pictures. Both urinals were out of order with garbage bags over them and hand written notes. Another stall was out with another 7 year old handwritten note, and best of all, there was a nazi symbol on one of the toilet paper dispensers. See the pictures. The building may have been nice 40 years ago, but it's a dated dump in a trashy area, that needs to be completely started over.

We're sorry that you didn't care for the food and thought our joint was less than spiffy. Our staff is "in character" at all times, so perhaps the comment for those standing in line was just part of the act. We're sorry this upset you. Public restrooms are often visited by guests that are not respectful of others (including the line outside). We do have plans for future upgrades, however, we intend to keep the authentic feel of a prohibition-era setting. If there was something specific that you complained about on the night of your visit and our response was not satisfactory please contact us through our website. We had a large party of 14 to visit for a night out and something different. We got the "VIP" experience for our party. Our table was great and right in front of the stage. The food was fine and served very quickly, service great and show is fun for a different type of night out. My only gripes are that there was supposed to be a pre show for VIP and there wasn't (we weren't informed when making our reservation). We arrived at 5:30p and were told to go ahead and order our food since it would take a while to get out but all our food came within five minutes (normally not a complaint) so we had a two hour or more wait until the main show that didn't start until after 8p (no pre show). We were also told no children under age 3 were allowed in the VIP area but a couple with a one year old were sat next to us and their baby did nothing but cry and scream the whole time. The sound system kept cutting in and out as well, but not a huge problem. If you want a different type of dinner show and night out, I would recommend this but if we ever come back, we will not pay the extra $$$ for VIP since we didn't get any benefit from it besides early entry at 5:30p. I was also the only one that took advantage of the unlimited alcoholic drinks (rum runners) and they were fine as well and the only show I've been to with unlimited cocktails.

Thank you for your kind words concerning our great service and fun show. As a VIP you should have received a free gift with early entry, served first, and prime seating. When available we offer a character meet-n-greet in The Four Deuces lounge. This is a great time to enjoy the unlimited cocktails. We apologize if this is what you are referring to as a "pre-show" and was not an option on the night of your visit. We appreciate your patience in waiting for general admission to be seated, served, and allowing them time to eat prior to the start of the show. It is possible that the guest with the infant was seated next to the VIP area, not as a VIP. However, our goons would have tried to take care of the little screamer if possible by changing the seating, especially if a request was made and if at all possible. Thank you for visiting and we hope to see you again.

My husband and I plus my daughter and son in law were looking for some different entertainment from the theme parks. Food was ok if you like pasta /pizza which I don’t so had very little to chose from. The others said it was ok and plentiful. Beers and sodas were served quickly by our server .Actual show was long and a bit boring but ..at times..fun.If you’re planning on going it seemed to be more fun if you dress up in appropriate clothing as gangsters and molls.i would recommend it as something different but personally I was disappointed in the food choices

We're sorry the food choices were a disappointment to you. We are no longer able to offer a buffet, but do have an extensive menu. It will change each evening based upon what is fresh in the kitchen, and offers healthy options as well as something for kids. We regret you felt you had little to chose from. Thanks for visiting.

Actors were given a raw deal based on quality of food and staff. Although, our waiter “Weasel” did the best he could do with what he had and gave good service. The woman that greets you at the entrance line station appeared to have come from the trashiest parts of New York City extremely rude, disorganized, and nasty attitude and worse very loud and argumentative. Seating us VIP front with backs to stage, went back to her And asked for anywhere allowing us to see stage. After a boisterously loud display from her, I asked for a refund knowing this was not going to end well. She suddenly came up with seating facing the stage as she was instructed to do. Once seated we felt things would get better and than the food courses started. We were strongly encouraged to get drunk but we don’t drink. Ordered a Diet Coke which was flat. Salad worth about .80 cents with white lettuce and tasteless dressing. Things got worse from there. Menu choices For our party were the Chicken dish, the Lasagna and the sausage and onions. The lasagna without meaning to gross you out was first served icebox cold than came lukewarm with vomit taste of hamburger with no flavor that had been sitting and cheese not mixed with hamburger or sauce and the sauce was old like it had been sitting a week I could not eat a full bite. The chef of this establishment has absolutely No knowledge of cooking, flavors or creative ideas. Later we ordered coffee and it is obvious that the cook never turned on brewer and it was colder than flat coke I was drinking. Thought our party was getting the raw deal however after looking at tables no one was eating; reordering kids frozen chicken nuggets and fries so they would have something in stomach. General manager appears to have never worked in a restaurant that could rate half way decent based on their desire to serve a good meal and should be fired if Capones is going to stay open. According to food they should have closed their doors a long time ago. On a good note the actors were ok and the show was entertaining. The only thing I would do differently is have a character comedian for the preshow in a half empty room with nothing to do is awkward. Wife’s chicken was boxed and cleaned and feed to a stray cat. Daughters peppers and onions were abandoned after a small bite and returned for chicken nuggets. Chocolate Cake served ice box cold and looked like it came and tasted like it came from a box baked grocery section. Good place to go if you are dieting. Cook would cause McDonald’s to close down.

Paid extra for the VIP tickets and all that for us was a line hop & 2 shot glasses to take home. All the rest of the ppl that were seated in the “VIP” section did not pay for the upgraded seats as we did. The venue was old & dingy looking with disgusting bathrooms. The food I could only compare to cafeteria food with less flavor. Now about the show… mics set way too loud, armature actors/dancers, and little crowd interaction. It was so bad we left at intermission although we had sunk over $100 on this night.

We regret you did not feel that VIP status (early entry, free drink, souvenir, early food service, character interaction and best seats in the house) was worth the upgrade. We have VIP seating in the balcony and lower floor, just as we have general admission seating on both levels. We're sorry you felt that balcony seating should only be reserved for VIP guests. We're also sorry you left early and did not enjoy your experience. My boyfriend and I loved this show! We got VIP tickets, and they stated that we'd have to pay for our drink upstairs, but it was actually included with our tickets! That was a really nice surprise. They do "mug shot" photos that you can purchase at the end, and they're very cool. The food was good, they had a gluten and dairy free option for my man (which was something we couldn't find at any other dinner show), AND the drinks were bottomless. My only constructive criticism: The drink options are limited, there are only 3, as they prepare them in pitchers in advance, and they are all very sugary. I wasn't sure if the upstairs bar stayed open during the show but I would recommend that so people who want straight spirits can access that. And I would tell them to not put ice in the pitchers so the drinks don't taste watered down. But they definitely encourage you to DRINK UP! So they're not trying to be cheap. Our server, Kitty was extremely sweet and attentive. We really liked her. The cast is small and I enjoyed how personable the show was. Bunny was our favorite character.

Some of our party enjoy watching shows but dont like being taken up on stage etc, is there a certain place you can ask to sit so the cast know to leave you alone lol

When you make your reservations tell the employee to note it on your reservation. Also your a lot less likely to be asked on stage if you don’t buy VIP tickets.

What time does the show start. Also can tickets be used any night

Hi Show starts about 7 if I recall. VIP ticket holders arrive earlier for complimentary drinks/snacks. Tickets have to be for a specific night.

Yes casual. But, they sell 1930's costume hats for men and women, long beaded necklace strands, feather boa, and a few other things to get "in the spirit" of the night if you want to do so. They also photo you (police mug shot") when you get inside, so dressing in a hat or a hairband and a boa will make you look like a 1930' flapper in the photo. Of course during the evening they will deliver a packet of photos, key chain, a newspaper with your "mug shot" on the front page, and some other memorabilia for $30. Purchase is optional.
