It is a great activity for a cool or rainy day. The museum covers military history from the revolutionary war thru modern day. Has a lot of exhibits to read and see. We thought is was very interesting.

As military history buff, I loved this museum with well-detailed American military artifacts like uniforms, photos, miniature displays, and logistics. I was hooked at the miniature military dioramas with engagement. There were different historical events at the beginning of Revolutionary War, Seminole War, Revolution of Texas, Civil War, Theodore Roosevelt's Cuban War, World Wars 1 & 2, Korean War, Vietnamese War to the end of Desert War in Iraq for snooping around to review with pleasure. There was a small library specializing in US military books and documents for reference, but no loan at all. My spouse was interested in displays with attraction because she was really visually-oriented like myself. This place was a full of entertainment for the early morning risers because it was so quiet.

We were greeted with a friendly hello & given the option to self tour or use the local docent, Al. We had Al guide us through. He was very entertaining. People joined in during the guided history and when he was done we had the opportunity to go back and take a closer look at the donated items. They are a single story, non-profit museum and Al is a volunteer. For it's small size there is a lot of interesting pieces to keep you engaged if you like military history.

If you have a true interest in learning about the US activity in every war, then you will appreciate this museum. There is a section on each of the wars with lots of information and and a very good collection of items from that war. Plan on about 2 hours there to look through it all. If the military and war is not "your thing", you may want to spend your time somewhere else.

Really enjoyed this museum! It is set up as a timeline through military history, and they have a little bit of everything. We took our 16 year old grandson and his friend who is joining the USMC next summer. Both of them are very interested in anything military, and we were all very impressed with the artifacts and how they were displayed. Ticket prices were reasonable, with discounts for seniors, students, and veterans, and the restrooms were clean. They also have a fantastic library with books from each military era. It takes at least an hour or more to go through the museum to really look at all the items from each time period. I was so impressed that I donated items from my father’s military career to the museum to be preserved and displayed. I highly recommend you visit the Museum of Military History!

We thoroughly enjoyed our guided tour with Al, he was very entertaining and we loved hearing about his personal connections with the military. The museum has some unique pieces. I really liked the pieces signed by veterans that participated in the conflicts and later visited the museum.

We had a fantastic experience at the museum of military history. We had a great guide, Al, who took us through the entire museum with lots of interesting stories. All of the personnel were very eager to share their stories and make our experience even better. I can definitely recommend this to anyone visiting the Orlando area.

I truly enjoyed taking my son and his friend to this museum. There is a lot of love put into this place. It was very nice to see such a fine collection of military memorabilia. The price is perfect and we spent about an hour there. Parking free and plentiful. I enjoyed seeing the younger kids enjoy this. As a veteran myself, it was a trip down memory lane. I hope more people will patronize this place so it can stay up and running.

Very friendly check in, offered a lot of information before we even entered. Good knowledge of all the "employee's", tons of real equipment provided by former military. Very interesting even or specially for our 5 year old. You can try on helmets, jackets, backpacks out of a small box. You can take pictures of everything.

We happened by and saw this museum. We absolutely loved the experience. The displays were nicely kept and informative. However, the best part was our tour guide, Al. Al is an enthusiastic historian and great at telling the stories as they really happened. We had two children 11 and 9 with us; Al kept their interest and made military history fun for all of us. I Definitely recommend this museum.
