On the way back, but still needs money and water

Now called Oaks National there is a complete change happening. With new management, and money being spent on the right things this course is starting to get itself back to its former glory. Originally designed by Gary Player it is not easy, but worth the effort with great views and lots of water! Staff are excellent, and friendly, and are... More

Oaks has come a long way, but it is still not there yet. The greens are brutal. They will get torn out and replaced soon. The rest of the track is fine. Traps, fairways, everything else is working. Watch out for the huge mosquito's pal!!!

Oaks National is in the process of being "refurbished or revitalized" as of June 2016. My understanding is that it had fallen into foreclosure and left in disrepair for some time. The new owner has done nothing short of a terrific job at bringing it back in a short period of time. While there are still a number of improvements... More

Played yesterday. The course layout could make this a beautiful golf experience. Very challenging with water, dog legs and long par 3's. The greens are beyond awful!!!!!. We couldn't putt or keep score. Great for practicing drives, 3 woods and irons but forget the putter

Love this golf course - yeah it's not a perfect course, but it's fun, friendly and not over uptight. It's a stunningly beautiful course.

Course now known as Oaks National, was previously Kissimmee Oaks. Too many prima-donna Americans posting negative comments. Green fee we were charged was $20, plus $20 for club rental – price charged reflects current conditions of course (under repair – especially the greens). The mainly American golfers who play here need a reality check. What do these people want Augusta... More

This course closed and was brought back by new management. It will always be "rougher" than the usual manicured Florida courses as there is little or no irrigation on the course. That said, they are trying to get people back visiting and have put a lot of work into upgrading the clubhouse, new electric buggies, and the staff are very... More

This was a good offer on paper only . This course is not ready and in my opinion will not be enjoyable to play on for at least 9-12 months. The fairways are bare and most of the greens are covered in sand so its your decision. The pro in the shop advised it was about three months off where... More

Where to start. The greens were in awful shape. Lots of sand, bumps and dead grass. The fairways and tee boxes were pretty good for the most part. The course is challenging and if everything were maintained properly it could be a beautiful course. It is obviously popular as there were lots of folks out on a early Monday. Play... More
