Everglades

We have a great experience observing endangered birds and aligators and other Animals. Our guide Capitain Dale has a great knowledgment about lake Toho, Kissimmee River.

Great Wild Life Experience

Fantastic birding experience and saw some big gators too. Captain Wade was a great guide. Really glad we signed up for the two hour tour, the time went by very quickly. Would be a great family experience.

90 minute tour was awesome!

We had a great experience with four adults and three very small children who all loved our 90-minute tour with Captain Chris! Captain Chris was great and even named one of the Gators after our daughter Avva the Gators name is Avva Lilly Gator :-)

hey, are what are the transfer options to get from disney to marsh landings? We're in a disney hotel from 28th July for 11 nights. this is a bucket list/memory maker holiday for me, my hubby and 2 daughter's (age 8&9). I have incurable cancer and this trip is all about making memories. Hence we feel this is not to be missed 😊. Jem xx

Answer

It should be safe. The captain's don't slam the boats around, it's a fairly gentle ride. (As always, a good idea is to call to the obstetrics office and check!)

Best area for airboat rides? (3 Replies)

We're looking at doing an airboat ride after disembarking from a cruise at Port Canaveral, since our flight home is not til 7pm. Looking for something longer than an hour, preferably a 2 hour or at least 90 minute ride, which not all of of the operators seem to do. I've tentatively selected Marsh Landing Adventures in Kissimmee. Is there any significant difference between this area and those that operate up closer to the port, around Christmas? Anything else I should know? Thanks!

So, comparing the St Johns River with the swamp/marsh area where Marsh Landing operates, is there much difference in the scenery? We'll have time to get to either location, just didn't want to find out later that one area is vastly preferable to the other. Thanks!
