Went out to do some reef fishing and it was a great day for early September. After putting a few tasty Yellowtails in the box it was off to drift fish a couple wrecks. It didnt take long before me and my buddy were cranking on a couple hog Mutton Snapper. Arms tired and doubting our abilities the Crew pushed us down for a couple more passes and after a couple sharks and a couple more decent Mutton I was ready to throw in the towel! Luckily that was the end of our day and we were on our way back to the dock. There is nothing better than fishing in the middle keys, you only need to run a few miles offshore to find all the fish you need and if you are looking for bigger game it's only a short run out to the gulfstream. I highly recommended Sweet E-Nuf Charters they have it figured out for sure! Fish or Die!

Thank you for fishing with us. I aim to please and some days it’s easier than others. But that’s what make fishing fun. You never know how good it can be until you get out there to do it.

We fished with Capt Dave on July 13th and had a great experience. We asked Dave if we could do a late afternoon / night trip which he gladly accommodated. Dave and his mate Chuck were ready to go the minute we arrived. The boat, a very well maintained and updated 33’ Hydra Sports, was spotless. We didn’t have to spend time getting bait - the live well was already full with fresh pinfish. We caught several nice yellow jacks, two mutton snapper (one was 16 lbs), a legal limit of mangrove snapper, and an assortment of other fish. Around midnight, when we were close to our limit of snapper, Dave was releasing legal sized keeper snapper while trying to get us bigger fish. He could have easily kept the legal size fish, got our limit, and headed in. Dave and Chuck cleaned and bagged our fish until 1:30 AM. I highly recommend Capt Dave for anyone looking to have an enjoyable day on the water.

I have over 40 years of extensive fishing experience so I know when I am with someone who knows their stuff. I have been with other charters...some do enough just get by and others go above & beyond what is expected. Caption Dave has always gone above & beyond and he know his stuff! I have taken 7 charters with Captain Dave with my sons. We have never been disappointed! I own my own small business and the key to a successful business is surrounding yourself with gifted people. Captain Dave is a gifted fishing guide and my buddy in Marathon. Already booked 3 charters for March 2021! Book him today!

I don’t often post reviews, but I made my decision based off these positive reviews and our family could not have had a worse experience. This wasn’t our first trip fishing, and it’s not negative because no fish were caught, but that was disappointing. I would not recommend! I booked an offshore full day trip emphasizing wanting to catch fish for eating, not sailfish for sporting. Captain Dave said certain fish may not be biting and they could come in for wreck if morning wasn’t successful. That sounded great. It was booked to go with Captain Chuck, whom Captain Dave emphasized was great and experienced. Captain Chuck was not set up for anything we booked the charter for. My husband mentioned that the plan was to try wreck and Captain Chuck had no clue that was the plan. They wasted time having to turn around to get two (yes, only two) rods to wreck fish.- There wasn’t a deckhand! Lines constantly tangled because it was only the Captain. My family had to help steer the boat to keep it straight. Captain Chuck was a nice guy but lacked the knowledge and equipment to have a fun or successful time. I communicated with Captain Dave about the experience prior to this post. I expressed the disappointment with the lack communication he provided to the captain of his other boat. He offered a partial refund to pick up the next day as long as I didn’t post an honest, poor review. When my husband went to pick up the refund, he refused. It’s always a toss up if fish are caught, but a lack of appropriate gear and a deckhand to help run the lines should be provided for the services advertised and the cost to go. Save your $1200 and go elsewhere.

For someone who doesn’t leave reviews they left one on every social media that’s out there. For those of you that read this review ignore it, it’s just a bunch of lies. They just wanted to try and get a refund for bad day fishing. It happens, can’t make the fish bite. Capt Chuck is a great captain and they had fish on they just lost them. I’ve been in business for 14 years for myself with no mate, they did everything they asked for, offshore which i discouraged by they were adamant on doing it so they wasted most of their trip live baiting for tuna and sails. Then they went to the wrecks and hooked ten fish and only landed one. They should have taken my advise and go reef fishing where we have been getting out limits of snapper every day. I hope that you all can read between the lines and see what a farce this bad review is.
