We loved our tour of the Turtle Hospital! We love sea turtles and we were able to learn lots more about them here. We saw lots of turtles in various stages of rehab and heard about all sorts of different things the Hospital does to help sea turtles. Kids ages 8, 5 and 4 had a great time as well.... More

This place was recommended in the AAA Guidebook. It was well worth the visit. The tour guide gives a great explanation of what the organization does and shows you all around the place, including a viewing of the turtles that are either waiting to be released or are too damaged to be returned to their natural habitat. This organization has... More

Second time taking the tour with two first timers. Very educational and informative. Proceeds from the 22$ (for adults) admission goes toward running the hospital as it is a non profit organization. Tour was 90 minutes. A great way to spend a morning/afternoon.

This place was amazing, it's a functioning hospital and on the tour you get a history of the hospital and the care they provide as well as the different issues that can afflict the sea turtles and how they can be treated. For this part they have a little area with books and a coloring station for kids who could... More

Take time and stop and visit the turtle hospital. Great for adults and children. Cute items in the gift shop and all sales benefit the turtles.

My husband and I were on a walk and decided to drop in. We were pleasantly surprised to see nice models and displays of turtles and information on each. There were gifts for sale and a movie offered several times during the day. The staff was informative and took the time to patiently answer my questions.

I was a little skeptical at first....20 bucks to look at broken turtles? But I was wrong....learned so much and really enjoyed the tour. Very clean, interesting story, and the staff ate obviously devoted to the mission. A must see, and great for a day when water sports aren't available.

How wonderful to be able to see the hospital and recovering turtles and learn all about them up close. What a special treat that this hospital has opened its doors to educate. Only wish people were more respectful and cautious as visitors; I understand why so many rehab places don't allow visitors. Grateful to have been given an inside look.

When suggested to visit the Turtle hospital on our rainy trip to the Keys, we giggled. The turtle hospital? Much to our surprise we enjoyed the visit very much and would definitely recommend a visit if you haven't been. Hands on with the turtles, interesting and enjoyable! Highly recommended! You will learn lots about these cool animals around since the... More

The tour was $22.00 per person and the money goes to fund the hospital. We really enjoyed the tour. It was very interesting. They do actual surgeries and all different types of procedures to fix up the injured turtles.
