Great place, love their turtles!

This is a lovely place to visit with the kids; not overly touristy & feels like you're getting a real insight into a working environment. Really informative. Only thing I'd... read more

The turtle hospital was informative and I learned a lot about turtles that I didn't know. Just keep in mind that the turtles you see aren't super healthy and cute. There is NOTHING hands on. Feeding the turtles is just throwing cereal into a huge pool with turtles. There were a few baby turtles that were really cute. I would... More

This is a lovely place to visit with the kids; not overly touristy & feels like you're getting a real insight into a working environment. Really informative. Only thing I'd suggest is to check the group-size at time of booking perhaps; we were in a large group and it was a little crowded especially for the kids who struggled to... More

It may be a visitor attraction but there is no denying that the people who work at the hospital do an amazing job at rescuing, rehabilitating and releasing the turtles they care for. I learned so much on my visit. You have the opportunity to learn about the programme in a classroom setting, before visiting the residents. Some, you learn... More

A little over a hour, we learned so much about turtles and the dangers they face. This organization simply spends it's time rescuing and rehabilitating turtles from the Keys. You get to feed them and see different types found here. Also they show you the injured turtles.

A brilliant place to spend a couple of hours when visiting Florida Keys. Very informative and both me and my husband said we were so pleased we went there. It's $22 per adult and this money goes back into helping keep this much needed hospital running. A fantastic place for adults and children and a must see place when you... More

I visited here with a group of grandparents and grandkids. There was a lot to learn about the different kinds of turtles and how the hospital rescues and rehabilitates them. This is a great trip for animal lovers and anyone interested in ecological issues. The volunteers were a good role model in "giving back"for the grandkids. They show a short... More

I don't want to sound rude or ungrateful because what the Hospital is doing is great rescuing the turtles is superb and is a great cause but I feel charging $66 for a family of 4 for 1.5 hour tour is rather expensive for what the tour includes. First 20 mins you see a video presentation and some facts about... More

We had a tour of the hospital and learned about the problems turtles suffer as a result of human activity and how the hospital helps them. Very interesting and informative and wonderful to see turtles being helped to get well and return to the wild. Keep up the good work!

We drove by this place on our way to our hotel and thought it was worth looking into. What a great experience. First you sit down with your group and listen to a very informative overview of the history of the hospital and what they offer. Then you are taken out to see the turtles in the pool area, this... Very nice facility and staff. Tours start with a video overview of turtles and their life spans. This facility rehabilitates and rescues injured turtles. It is very clean and the staff is committed to their mission. Worth the trip
