Have been visiting Marathon for several years. It's my spiritual pleasure to start the week with the 8AM Mass. It is so peaceful and calm. Attended this year and masks are required and the seats were clearly marked for distancing.
Father Perez is a delight. I love his homilies. Even now at home, I join in to listen to his Mass that they are kind enough to record.
Don't miss the chance to wonder around the various gardens behind the church, So Pretty. You don't realize that just yards behind the gardens is the Vaca Cut between Atlantic and the gulf. I always think of them when we hear of hurricanes being so close to the water.

This church is an absolute delight! Winding tropical gardens, water fountains, a pond, gigantic foliage plants and trellises adorn the grounds of this lovely Catholic church. We enjoyed a lovely outdoor service this morning Sunday 3/7 and strolled through the gardens after. A lot of work and thought as been put into this garden, and as a plant lover, I highly recommend a visit! Church service times can be found on the San Pablo website, do check it for current times. Highly recommended!

An adorable Catholic church with beachy charm. We attended the Christmas service at 10:00, and the church regularly offers a Spanish mass at 12:30 on Sundays. The botanical gardens are free to the public and can be explored any time of the day. The Christmas lights made the experience even more magical. Lots of great photo opportunties.

We spent two weeks in Marathon Florida and were able to attend two Sunday masses at San Pablo Catholic Church. We were warmly welcomed at both masses to this lovely church. The grounds are spectacular! Be sure to take a walk down the winding pathway between the church and the social hall. We found a peaceful respite from the busy Highway 1 there! Ample parking available. We were casually but respectfully dressed and fit in just fine. Modest shorts, summer dresses, etc. were the norm. Peace will be with you at this lovely church!

My wife enjoys the priest at this location — the same priest as last year. The congregation is large and Saturday services are packed. The outer area has some construction but the main buildings are beautiful and well maintained.

Being a Catholic we always enjoys visiting churches in all our travels. After reading the reviews we knew this was a 'must 'visit'. We had read about the massive Christmas lights display in the gardens and were very lucky they were still on display in mid-January. We spent over 30 minutes enjoying each little area. It was after 8pm, safe to walk around and feel the presence of peace. As it was late, the church doors were locked. Next time we hope to see the rest of this beautiful church. Blessings.

We came for Christmas Eve mass and went through the lighted gardens too. There was plenty of parking and the late evening mass was convenient for us so we could stay on the beach and eat dinner late. Perfect touch for spending Christmas away from home.

We visited this Church during our break on Marathon while driving to Key West.
The Church is not a classic one you're used to find, but rather a plain house style one. However, it looked very cute with New Year's decorations and had a nice fountain and cute small garden.

This is a wonderful parish that has been like a family to me for over 25 years. I watched the prayer garden evolve into a treasured place of meditation and peace. Then Hurricane Irma 'visited' the Keys. She got the vegetation from our garden (and the roof from our rectory!), but the church and parish hall are still strong! In addition, the statues in the prayer garden are still there! When you are in the Keys, come and see....we will all watch as the native vegetation comes back to make our gardens lovely again!

A must see especially around Christmas, it is like a catholic disney world in their gardens! Just stunning, with piped in music and all. I went to mass during the day, and strolled thru and saw how pretty then, but returned in the evening and it is spectacular light show! Not to mention very inspiring to pray to the blessed Mother, Padre Pio, St Francis, the Blessed Family and pray the rosary as well! Deacon Kirk is from NJ and a pleasure speaking to him after mass. I brought my family back another evening as they weren't able to be with me that day, and they thanked me as they couldn't believe how lovely!

Wondering if they have gospel singing there. We'd love to join a gospel group singing. We're in New Orleans, Savannah and Charlestin but unfortunately travelling on Sundays. We're in Key West on a Sunday. Would love any advice please
