Island Lure Charters is all about fishing and fun. Fishing the reef and wrecks to offshore and bay we catch snapper, grouper, mackerel, mahi, tuna, and much more. The Island Lure is a clean and comfortable boat and will cater to meet the needs and desires of each and every fishing trip. From the experienced angler to novice I will do all I can to provide a fun,safe and productive day on the water. Specializing in family fishing trips everybody is welcomed on the Island Lure.

I booked TJ with Island Lure charters, because of all the great reviews. And today did not disappoint!. I went with my husband and 18 and 22-year-old children and we had a blast! He asked us what we wanted to fish for and we told him we wanted to catch fish fast that we were good to eat and by golly did we ever! We got 24 fish in nothing flat and that was even throwing back some of the small ones! He filleted and cleaned them all and I can’t wait to have a great dinner tonight tomorrow and Sunday night! If you are looking for a fun day in the Keys, I totally recommend booking with TJ and Island Lure charters None of us had ever really fished. before so he is great and patient to work with all types of experience!

I had a second trip with Captain TJ in Marathon Key, and it was incredible!! Great weather and a spotless boat were fantastic, but the best part was the captain himself. TJ makes the experience personable, fun, and has an incredible knowledge of how to catch yellowtail and other Florida sport fish!! Not only was action and the size of the fish great, but we got our limit for one of the most gourmet fish available. If you like to eat your catch and go for a variety of fish, instead of sitting on a boat for hours and hours trolling for a Moby Dick who never comes, TJ is the best there is. I would never go with any other Captain in the Keys, especially since this was my second incredible experience. The fish might be gone, but the memories are forever!!

My Wife and I were in the keys for our honeymoon and we booked an 8 hr charter. This fishing trip was so much fun! we would definitely go with him again next time. Captain Richard called us the previous day to make sure we were all set and to warm us there might be pretty decent sized waves. He had everything ready on board when we arrived and was awesome throughout. Unfortunately I didn’t prepare correctly and ended up getting sea sick after the first hour on the Atlantic side of the keys but our day didn’t end. He took us to several other fishing spots on the gulf side with calmer water. Then later in the day, we went back to the Atlantic side for even more fishing. My wife and I caught dozens of fish, which we couldn’t keep since they were too small but several we did keep. He kept our lines baited and arranged other poles to catch as many fish as possible. To top it off, he cleaned and filleted our catch so we could have the local restaurant cook it up for us that evening.
If you want a great personal charter with a captain who knows the water and where to fish for a great time, look no further! You won’t be disappointed.

We booked our family fishing trip (2 adults + 2 teens) with Captain TJ & Island Lure Charters based on the great reviews. What a great day! We caught several snapper and even a king mackerel. The boat was quite clean and comfortable. TJ is very personable and knowledgeable. He even cleaned our fish afterwards. If you're looking for a fun fishing excursion, you can't go wrong with TJ!

We had a wonderful time with Capt. Rich. I took my 2 kids (9 & 10) as well as my wife and niece out for a half day trip. Rich took us out to the patch reefs and we immediately started catching fish. We ended up catching black grouper, yellow tail, mangrove snapper, lane snapper, grunts, pinfish, puffer fish, bonnet head shark and silky sharks. Captain Rich was very patient with the kids and answered all of their questions. We kept him busy rebaiting or rerigging, only because he had us on fish and we were constantly having bites or catching fish! He even let the kids help feed the pelicans at the fillet station while they hovered at his elbow as he filleted. I've been on many guided trips up and down the coasts. Captain Rich is a solid operator and I'll gladly go back out with him again.

My favorite part of this trip was being part of a family fishing trip. Captain Rich was helpful and helped each of us to bait, cast and bring in the fish. The Captain was able to identify the types of fish and even gave tips on the best way to cook them that evening. We fished both sides of the Florida Keys. The Island Lure was fun to be on the ocean and we moved smoothly and quickly to each fishing location. This trip was a birthday present for my 80 year, it was absolutely perfect. I highly recommend this fishing charter business

My wife and I was lucky enough to go out on the island lure charter, and we spent several hours catching all kinds of different fish, including a 5 foot long barracuda! Captain Rich is the best! The fishing rods, reels, and bait were top quality, and we kept casting and catching all afternoon. We look forward to returning to Marathon. I am going back out again with Captain Rich.

Capt. Rich was very knowledgeable and took us straight out to a productive fishing spot. He was very attentive and kept our hooks baited and brought in our catch. Great fun for all of us (even my young grandson). When we reached the dock, he cleaned and bagged our fish which went straight onto the grill that evening. I recommend Capt. Rich for your next fishing adventure.

Our experience with Captain Rich and Angelo was above and beyond our expectations. At every turn, they were there to answer any questions or help with any need. We felt like royalty. We were there for fish, and they made sure that happened. We felt very comfortable and confident with Captain Riche's recommendations. The fish kept coming!!! One of us had not been fishing before, and she caught the most fish of the day. This was the highlight of our stay in the Keys. Thanks for the restaurant recommendation. We ate like kings and queens. Great job, Captain Rich!!! Hope to see you again soon.

We had the best time fishing with Capt. Jeremy! He was very personable and professional and made sure our family had a great fishing experience. He has a lifetime of knowledge of the area and where and when to fish in order to maximize your fishing experience. Our family will definitely go and fish with him again!

Coming down on October 22 and 23. 4 Women 60 and over. Love adventure and new experiences. None of us are fishermen but want to experience it. It's a bucket list thing.
Where can I get times of departure and cost?
What happens if we catch something? We have no refrigeration but there is a grill at hotel in Homestead.
