Hall's is one of the better places to book a dive through in the middle keys. While we had wanted to go out to Sombrero Reef, the traffic was crazy on the day we went out and they found to alternate but exceptional spots including Delta Schoals and Boom Ledge. The staff is easy going but helpful, which is exactly what you want from an operator. Several newer divers were on the boat and they made a few mistakes (setting up equipment backwards for example) but the team merely helped them out. That is the right way to handle it. They serve pineapple slices between and after dives, which is a nice touch as well. The boat is a little old and emits some unpleasant fumes, so you want to get up front if possible but it offers easy entry and exit.

Very professional and friendly. The instructor was very patient with us. They gave us pool instructions and then to the open only after we were comfortable. They took us to a beautiful coral reef not too far away. We watched turtles, or they were really watching us. Plenty of fish, but just one very large barracuda.

Went there for a half day of diving, sombrero reef and some barge wreck. The facilities are good and friendly staff. The boat captain I think it’s either Dave or Dan is very knowledgable and fun, we didn’t have a guide per se but Zack was diving as a guide for another diver so we kinda followed them. Pretty easy relaxed dives, suitable for beginners who would want to try diving in buddy teams with minimal guiding

We spent a week diving the Florida Keys from key Largo to Key West. Average price for a 2 tank dive was $80 including tanks and weights, up and down the keys. Halls charged $127 Boat was older and had no fresh water rinse on board for after your dive. No camera bucket. Be careful and check your tanks, because many of ours were only partially full. Obviously not refilled after the last dive. One nice thing was the fresh cut pineapple after the dive, instead of the traditional oranges!! There are better run boats to dive on in the Keys for a better price!!

Sorry to hear that you didn't have an enjoyable trip with us. Our boat is older, but still in very good shape. It's a Coast Guard inspected vessel and upholds the highest safety standards. Unfortunately the fresh water shower that we have on board was currently down for maintenance at that time.We do not not keep a camera bucket on the boat at all times. Had you let us know we would have been more than happy to provide one for you.Yes there was a problem with some of the tanks being light, however this was resolved before we left the dock. All tanks on board were at 3000-3200 PSI.We are also sorry that you feel we are overpriced. We need to be competitive with a dive business that is three blocks away that charges 20%-30% higher than we do. We are pleased you enjoyed the pineapple.

By far the best instructors in the business. If you’re looking for a place to learn then this is the place to go. Everyone on staff has something to offer and for the most part took every opportunity to pass along their knowledge. If you want to be a dive pro, then you better do it right and learn from the best. Even with the normal stress of the environment itself, this dive operation exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend this dive school for all levels of training.
