Its about 3 mile out from the Sombrero Beach. Only accessible by boat or jet ski. A great reef worth checking out if you get the chance. Stay away from the lighthouse there is nothing to see there but the surrounding reef was awesome.

I've been to the reef snorkeling 2x this winter and can't stop going. The fish life is excellent, fans are colorful and plenty of spaces to moor the boat. First time seeing a trumpet fish, rays barracudas you name it. Both trips there were turtles surfacing. Vibrant !

Great coral reef to snorkel. Tons of fish to see. The water was quite clear the day we were there although it sounded like this had been the best day in a week or so. There were a few other boats in the area but lots of room to explore.

This reef is about 7 miles off shore. The current was decent when we visited and the visibility not great, but there was recently a storm. It's important to watch for Portugese man of war in the water, one in our group was stung and that kind of ended the party for everyone. There are LOTS of fish here though,... More

took the Spirit tour boat out of Captain Pip's Marina. great trip. offered several times a day. I went in the morning about 10:00 am. good value, not for small kids, I would think 12 or ollder depending on the kid. The day I was out you had to swim against the wind and a pretty good current. after an... More

There is a reef filled with colorful fish. Snorkelers heaven. Nice sandbars not far make for great BBQ/picnics.

This was the first place we had been in the water in the Keys. It was busy with a bunch of other boats moored there, and you have to be very careful since it was pretty busy and there were divers in the water. But there is a lot of sea life to check out, you don't have to be... More

Dove with a local operator and had a great time. The reef is in a protected area so the marine life is very approachable. The reef is multi-fingered with a lot of soft and hard corals. We also saw a large green moray, a spotted moray, barracuda, filefish, lobster, and several small tropical fish. Our dive time was limited to... More

My favorite place to snorkel and take visitors. The water is unbelievably clear and beautiful and can be surprisingly calm. Mooring balls, protected area, no fishing or spearfishing.
