They have a very nice, stocked up store with helpful and knowledgeable staff that were able to help get us set up with the right stuff.

We are visiting for a week and wanted to get setup for dock fishing at our rental. We got set up with 2 rods, bait, and loads of freindly advice. The kids have not set the rods down for more than time needed to swim and/or eat. Glad we stopped in to the Tackle Box. Great investment, for the priceless memories.

This is a great place to stop by and get bait. They helped us and taught us technique on how to hook on some snapper. We aren't from the area and aren't use to fishing for sapper and after the first day of nothing we checked this place out after many great google review. I have to say they were polite, taught us technique. Gave us the right tackle and off we went. That day we caught lots of snapper and it made out trip out there fun. The price is very reasonable for the tackle.

I met the owners and they were so helpful and courteous! We’re new to fishing the Keys and they couldn’t have been more gracious and caring in helping us get all set up! Great a trip and fishing experience because of The Tackle Box!

After renting a place on the water in Marathon I quickly learned the gear and tackle I use in the Chesapeake Bay wasn't going to cut it in the Keys. I ended up going to The Tackle Box based off of really good Hoogle reviews. When we got there, Captain Chris was at the counter and asked how I was doing today and I replied, better if you could put me on some fish. I explained to him my dilemma and after some fun joking around he told me how I should be rigging my lines and what baits I should be using. After taking his advice I was catching Mangrove Snapper, Jack Crevalle & Pin Fish from the bulk head at my place and did a catch and cook with them on the grill with butter, onion and seasons. Captain Chris got a good laugh hearing I ate Pin Fish and Jack Crevalle. We ended up going on a Private Charter with Captain Chris for 6 hours and ended up catching 9 different species of fish including plenty of Mangrove Snapper in the 14 to 15 inch range. Other species included Mackeral, Yellow Tail, Black Grouper and I would love to list the rest of them, but can't remember their names. He took all of our keepers back to his shop and cleaned and bagged them for us. This was my first trip to the keys and when I come back I will definitely be going straight to The Tackle Box.
