I have fished with Capt. Steve Murray and Florida Fishing Headquarters on 20+ trips over the past 5 years. Capt. Murray has offered a first-class experience on every trip from equipment to instruction. He is accommodating to fisherman of all skill levels and ages. I have brought along friends, customers, my sons, and wife on the various trips, on all occasions we caught a lot of fish and had an amazing time. Capt. Murray is personable and eager to share his knowledge of the fishery in the backcountry of Everglades National Park. Over the years of fishing with Capt. Murray I have caught more species of fish than I could count- ranging from large sportfish such Snook and Redfish to great eating fish like Snapper and Trout.
I highly recommend booking with Capt. Murray, you won’t be disappointed!

Thanks Steve for more GREAT fishing trips.
135 and 150 pound Tarpon.
Steve must be the best captain in the Keys, with the knowledge to put you on the fish.
Hope to go out again later this year or early next year.

Captain Steve Murray was our fishing guide, he was extremely knowledgeable about the area surrounding Islamorada and the mangrove areas within the Everglades Park.
His equipment was perfectly maintained and matched to the fish targeted.
His 24" flat bottomed boat was equipped the a new 250 hp engine, a fabulous GPS controlled electric trolling motor, a spike anchor which combined allows you to maintain positioning against wind & current making your ability to hold wile fishing a section of Mangrove or bottom for your targeted pray.
As a sailor and boater all of my life was extremely impressed his boat's stability wile running a course or holding position.
The fishing was great and the surroundings are beautiful. Luckily the days were overcast keeping the sun off us and temperature moderated. Some rain clouds approached but with his boats speed and maneuverability we were easily able to outrun their them.
I have fished the shores of the Indian Ocean, Atlantic, Caribbean and Pacific from the the northern areas to asian & African shores and this area is has as much in diversity as any other place I have been.

First time that i have been with Steve in March.Lost a day due to Hayfever,which as a norm is something I no not suffer from.However,Steve put us on the fish .One small 40lb 1 tarpon but huge Trout and Jacks.
Back in May which last year was great.
DO NOT FORGET YOUR PASS

Went out with Steve 4 time this trip,1st night 105 pound Tarpon,2nd night nothing,3rd night never seen so many Tarpon 9 fo 0 and the last night had a 125 pound fish that was the best fight ever 45 minutes that left me exhausted.
Steve is a Great guide.

Had a great time again with Steve.No Tarpon this year but it was a full Moon.Plenty of Tarpon on the scanner but they we just not biting.
Went for Trout and as usual Steve put us on the right spot,
Five casts a five Gator Trout,got 8 out of 10 casts.
If you want sharks Steve know all the best spots,best was a 240 pound Lemon and had
140 pound,with many about 60 to 70 pounds.
Will see you again next LOVE THE USA

Back in April and June.As usual had great time.Love the USA.
Always and friendly welcome.Went out with Steve of the Tarpon Headquarters
who is located at The Postcard Inn.Had one huge Tarpon on but lost it.
2015 had 3 tarpon in one night,all over 100 pounds
The weather was against me this year.Still had many fish and if you like Sharks,Steve knows all the spots .Flight booked for May 2017

Steve always get you on the fish.
Been going with Steve for years now and this was my first trip back for 2 years.
Caught so many fish. 3 big redfish a 60lb stingray,75ib and 100ib bull sharks.
Steve Murray has taught me soo much about fishing.
DO NOT WAIT,GO CATCHING

We just got back from our 7th trip with Steve and are already planning our next. We learned from him long ago that it's better to go "catching" than just fishing and boy did we catch fish; so many that Steve figured we caught between 400-500 fish over a 5 hour span! They were so hungry that we even hooked them repeatedly without any bait! We caught snook, snapper, jack crevalle, blue runners, sheephead, black drum, red drum, and too many others to remember. Absolutely the best fishing day ever!

Four if us went out with Sam and had a great time. Saw mangroves, dolphin in the ocean and the bonus was a manatee.
Sam knows so much and was a delight to be with.
