Captain Tim is really delightful and very skilled at finding the fish. We had a very enjoyable day on the water with him as he coached us through a variety of fishing techniques. Buoy fishing was the boat favorite for sure. Upon return, Tim filleted the fish and recommended a few local restaurants that would cook up our catch. It was a great way to spend the day on the water. Just be warned, there is no "head" (aka toilet) and little shelter from the sun.

Went fishing with Captain Tim out of the Bud & Mary's marina in Islamorada. We had booked an inshore fishing trip as we had 2 adults and 3 young boys. Captain Tim has said we would probably go for snapper, but when we showed up, the weather was perfect and Capt Tim said we were going for Mahi Mahi offshore. We were thrilled as not only would Dolphin fish be fun to catch, but we would have dinner if we were successful. Well, Capt Tim did not disappoint. After driving around for a while looking for any action, Capt Tim spotted a floating bamboo log and lo and behold a monster school of Mahi Mahi. By the end of the trip we had 12 keepers and dinner for most of the week. Boys had a fantastic time and really enjoyed the fish tacos afterward. Capt Tim was amazing in finding where the fish were. Can't wait to come back.

Captain Timmy was great, boat was great as well. I choose native conch charters because it was one of the few boats in Islamorada that could accommodate 4 fisherman. We did a backcountry trip. We ended up fishing for Seatrout which was fun, however I have done that in Delaware. I was ultimately after Tarpon, but it was not yet the season, Plus we only did a half day. Note to families that have ladies on board, these backcountry boats do not have a head or bathroom on it, so have them prepared to use a bucket. While I would not book this type of trip again, if I was doing a backcountry trip I would invest in the full day trip so you can go farther and I would personally want to do a tarpon or bonefish trip. I would trust native conch charters to know where to go and what to use.

We were referred to Native Conch by a friend in Boca Raton and are happy it happened. We met him at Bud and Mary's, where her was ready to go. We were originally planning to fish the bay side, but the winds kept us on the Atlantic. Timmy showed us some spots and we hung and fished with shrimps. Fish weren't biting heavy, but we came back with hog fish for lunch, which is what I went out there hoping to get. We also hooked a gorgeous parrot fish on shrimp (Yes, we let him go) Tim was a great guide and fun to spend the day with. We'll be back for Tarpon season! Chuck and Kat
