We had a wonderful experience with both Captain Sue and Allen!! We booked a sunset cruise and snorkel trip while visiting for my husband's 40th birthday. I could not have imagined a better time. He took us out to a beautiful reef to snorkel and then took us to the bay to watch the sun set. He was extremely knowledgable, friendly and accommodating. We saw dolphins, a shark, a leopard ray, turtles and tons of amazing fish and coral. They were also extremely understanding and accommodating when our travel plans had to change and we had to re-book. We will absolutely be back and would not go anywhere else. Allen and Sue are both wonderful and we cannot say enough positive things about our adventure.

My wife and I decided to look for a last minute boat tour /snorkeling trip. Lucky for us, Sue happen to be available. It was a bit choppy out and so she found a spot for us to jump in and snorkel on the bay side. Then she took us around and showed us her favorite spots while giving us some history and lessons along the way. We even saw some dolphins and Sue maneuvered the boat so that the dolphins we were able to follow us and play in the wake. Thank you, Sue, for the wonderful and memorable trip.

This is our second time going out with Captain Sue. She is extremely accommodating to your needs and what you want to do. Her knowledge of the best snorkeling was helpful and we tried a few spots. We will use her again when we return. She is simply the best.

Location was easy to find and parking was close by. Captain Sue was friendly and easy to talk to. This sunset cruise was a highlight of our stay on the Keys, we saw nesting pelicans, osprey, frigates and egrets. Learned things about Florida and their waterways. The sunset was beautiful and we would highly recommend Captain Sue for your adventure. Complimentary champagne and water was provided.

Sue is great at her job and really takes outstanding care of guests. The weather was not suitable to go out into open water, so she worked with us and took us to another inland site that was fantastic. We saw tons of fish of all kinds, lobster and had two different large rays swim with us. We had a great time. Sue is also super nice, accommodating and really knowledgeable about the Keys. We learned so much from her and she answered all our questions. We’d go back out with her in a heart beat.

A perfect way to see a sunset in the Florida Keys! Me, my daughters, and granddaughter had the pleasure of a beautiful sunset cruise with Captain Sue. We were excited to board the boat and knew we wanted to go where she wanted to take us and see what she wanted to see. And that is what we said to her question of "what do you want to see?". Oh boy, she did not disappoint! She was a wealth of knowledge as she took us through waterways in the open ocean, by waterfront homes, under a drawbridge to the gulf, a view of the Everglades National Park with lots of information, to mangroves with lots of bird watching and wildlife, and a perfect view of an incredible sunset, and then a cruise back through waterways that gave us a view of an underwater world of sponges, angel fish, sharks, and lots of saltwater fish. Thank you very much for being the guide that gave each one of treasured memories that we have locked in our hearts!!!

I don’t think either I or my family could possibly give a positive enough review to Captain Sue and Allergic to Land charters to capture what a great experience we had!
They were recommended to us by a friend who really knows her travel, and it was one of the best parts of our whole vacation. Captain Sue knows the waters around Islamorada intimately, and was able to take us to fascinating places to see birds, manatees, incredible coastline and waterfront properties, snorkeling on an old wrecked boat, and lots of history and information about the Florida Bay. We even got to help her solve a mystery… Someone stole several of her crab traps, and as we cruised around the bay, we managed to recover one (she tells us she recovered two more shortly thereafter).
The boat we went out on was quiet and powerful and clean and well equipped for any scenarios; there are parts of the bay from which combustion engines are prohibited, so captain Sue keeps the powerful little electric motor on board to let us cruise silently through those areas. Just speeding around the bay between locations was a joy.
The whole experience was comfortable, fun, informative, and Captain Sue set a great tone for the whole adventure. Thanks, Cap. Sue, we will not only recommend you to all of our friends, we’ll be back!

My husband Jack and I highly recommend Sue and Allergic to Land Charters. She know exactly where to go. We saw many nesting birds and dolphins, swam with the setting sun. The experience was much more than we expected. Thanks Sue

We had been on one of Capt. Sue’s ecotours/ sunset cruise several years ago and remembered having a great experience. We had some friends visiting and wanted to show them a great time . Sue was very quick to reply to my inquiries even though I had messaged her at nighttime . We booked and this time, we hit the jackpot . We traveled with Captain Alan this time who was also fantastic. We had perfect weather and flat-calm waters. We came upon a pod of dolphins And Alan got them to swim alongside the boat. It was amazing. Also saw a lot of birds , wildlife & a fantastic sunset . The 4 of us had the boat to ourselves. It was priced reasonably & well maintained & smooth-riding boat . What a Fantastic experience, already looking to do another one next time we are in the area.

A Sunset Cruise is the perfect way to end a day in Islamorada. We had a great time with Capt. Alan as we toured nearby keys, canals and bird sanctuary before making our way to watch the sunset. He shared history, points of interest and spotted sea life along the way. Out in the middle of the Bay, it was as if we had the whole sunset to ourselves...it was absolutely Beautiful, and topped off by a champagne toast...sensational.
