Beach Bum Paddle Sports offers the best quality paddleboards for you and your family or group to experience the Florida Keys in style! Each paddleboard rental includes a USCG approved vest and whistle, a paddle and optional cargo net and/or dry bag. Ask for snorkel gear, dive flag floats and sand anchors for your adventure. We can also provide coolers rigged for fishing. We also offer kayaks.

So I've been SUP before but the person I was with had not. Patrick...our guide said no problem! So we meet Patrick at a secluded spot that only a few local people know about and I believe him it is secluded! He goes over a few pointers and off we go. Now he timed our trip with the tide which was very nice. It makes for a nice easy paddle. The water in this little canal/inlet was very very clear and pretty shallow. We saw several fish and a couple barracuda lobster crab and others. We paddled out into the Atlantic and around the shore for an hour and a half or so. Patrick kept his distance but not to far so as to give us some privacy as well. He was really knowledgeable about the surroundings. On the way back the tide was coming in which made for a super easy paddle back. He also gave us a couple places to check out the sunset and local brew while we were in town. I would highly recommend Patrick and will defiantly hit him up the next time I am down there

Great service! Called Patrick a week before my arrival to rent 2 paddle broads and a kayak. We rent a house every year and this year we wanted to have some toys at the house. Patrick delivered it himself and he was so nice. And price was great! Not everyone was willing to rent them out for 10 days. Everyone wanted to rent them on a daily basis. So this was a great find! Thanks Patrick for making our vacation fun !

This is just what my wife and I were looking for on our get away through the keys. We had an adventure form Key West to Miami and stopped off along the way to see lots of things including the Key Deer in Big Pine but this was by far the best stop. We called up and our guide Pat met us at a terrific spot in the mangroves. He gave us a top to bottom "how to" and then we were off! We saw many parrot fish, skate, one very cool turtle and a ginormous barracuda! - We (Pat) - dropped anchor under a shady spot and we got our boards together for a great lunch and then headed back. Hats off to our guide for timing the tide just right as it was coming in on our way back which made for a sublime (and easy) ride. I was a bit trepidatious about my balance at first (I am a clumsy computer guy) but Pat had the answer with a cooler seat strapped to the board - which I used at first - but after that I felt like a pro. If you are looking for the secret sauce to a memorable adventure (and new like me) This is it. - Thanks BBPS and Pat

We found Beach Bum Paddle Sports while on vacation in Tavernier, FL. We had never paddle boarded but wanted to try in an area that was going to be easy to learn and teach our girls 8 and 10 years old. We did not have a vehicle to transport the boards or any equipment, but it didn't matter because Pat suggested a calm, Bay side put in spot that was protected and ideal for the kids. He met us with all the equipment clean and ready to go. He had life jackets for the kids and coolers, plus an anchor if we wanted to just tie up and relax.
We had a great time, the girls picked it up quickly with Pat's guidance. I would suggest Beach Bum Paddle Sports to anyone traveling to the Keys. We will be coming back for more next year.

My wife and I are 66 years old and rented paddle boards from Patrick for Ann's Beach on Islamorada just last week. The experience was most favorable. Neither one of us had ever SUP before but Patrick supplied very clear and effective instructions and coaching and before long we off and doing it. My wife has a serious hip and leg limitation which caused her a lot of issues when trying to stand up while on the water. Patrick solved this by strapping a cooler on which she could sit on and then transition to standing. Patrick and his business are a serious customer supportive entity. All the other things - board options, on time, efficient billing were accomplished professionally as well. Please call him and you will no doubt have the same experience. Ted from New Mexico

Patrick is a plethora of knowledge and was a game changer in our kayaking trip. He gave us great advice on where to go and when to go to save energy against the tide and the wind. He was prompt meeting us at a remote spot to put in and was again prompt when we took out. Great experience

Patrick was very helpful and his boards are wonderful quality. My husband and I rented the paddle boards for 2 hours and we had an amazing time.

First time paddle boarding for four of us. Patrick gave us some quick lessons and off we went. It was a blast and lots to see on the tour. I would definitely use him again.

It was the first time for my girlfriend to paddle board, and Patrick handled it like a champ. She only fell once...10 feet off the landing spot after an hour on the water!
Afterwards, we took out a double kayak thru the mangroves for a couple of hours. Great fun. Definitely coming back for a custom tour next time around. Thanks Patrick!

Patrick took all six of us last minute and was great to work with. He took time with each of our kids and made sure they were all comfortable for their first time out. He was patient with my many questions and provided good equipment. Had a great time.
