not much beach

disappointed that the beach wasn't larger; a place to stop and see, but not spend the day; no facilities; very little parking

This is a beautiful beach with wonderful views. The parking will only accommodate about 10 cars. But if you get there early I guess you might find a spot. It has some of the most beautiful views from the boardwalk. The beach is small and there is grass but when you get to the sand it's wonderful. Again the keys... More

Sorry we didn't have our bathing suits. Quiet little boardwalk beach. Plenty of shade. Picnic tables. Very clean. No trash. We didn't experience any bugs. Plenty of iguanas to eat the bugs!!! Another small beach to come back to. Parking was limited. You may need to park across the highway.

Anne's Beach used to be known for square groupers from what the locals will tell you. There is a very nice boardwalk along the water through the mangroves and three or four connected small beach areas to play in the water or fish out launch your kayak. I did rent a kayak and took it there to head out and... More

Nice walk through mangroves but lots of bug and flies. Depending on tides you may or may not see sandy beach. Nice picnic areas but suspect they get fled early. Nice place early on for quick stop but d not plan the day here. Too many other things to do in Islamorada

I've been coming to Anne's Beach for several years and I never tire of it. There is always something new to discover and a great place to relax. A little crowded on weekends or during high season but mid-week is awesome!

Breathtaking views of the water and wonderful boardwalk along the mangroves make this an interesting place to visit. Be certain to come early as the parking lot is small and fills up quickly leaving no room to park and having to go down the road to park and walk back to the beach. We were there around 11 AM on... I believe people stop at Anne's Beach to see a real keys beach, because there are so few of them. Anne's is an experience, particularly for those of us that live in areas with great beaches. Once you wade through the edge of the beach full of Dead Sea grass, iis not terrible. Seriously, we don't have many beaches in... More

... But bear in mind that the beaches are small and limited in the Keys. So all relative. Our boys enjoyed it but only for a few hours, not really an all-day sort of beach really.

Ahhhh. Long, white sand beaches. The sound of crashing waves. If that's your idea of the perfect beach day, you've come to the wrong place. However, as far as Keys beaches go, this place is just fine. The parking is quite limited so get there early or pack some patience next to the sunscreen and towels. The "beach" space differs...
