Went fishing with my 18 year old son. The guide was John Johansen. The day did not start well when he suggested I had made a mistake in the booking and wasn't due for a couple of days. Thankfully I had the emails on my phone. Once that was sorted we had an excellent days fishing. Really noticeable that Capt... More

I reserved a 4 hours charter with Jeff for my 17 year-old son and myself. It was the first time I have ever chartered a boat for fishing. I've owned boats and my son and I have enjoyed fishing together as he has grown up. I was unfamiliar with "Fishing the Keys" so I allowed Jeff to recommend and plan... More

I have been going to Islamorada for decades. These have been trips that were solo, a couple, family, and group(s). This is a unique location in several regards. As an avid fisherman, I always fished if weather permitted. The variety of fish and methods of catching them is amazing. This is a unique location from the standpoint that three different... More

Went Tarpon fishing in April with Captain Eric Scoble. We caught two out of three Tarpon. We also caught some nice big sharks! He's a great guy and tries real hard to catch you a Tarpon.Thats not an easy fish to catch this is our third try and we finally succeeded!!

Fished with Eric Scoble on the Blackwater charter boat. Caught so much fish! Brought my nephew that never fished before and had a great time. We caught so many different species. Grouper, snook, tarpon. Definitely have to go with him!

We have fished with Capt. Brian Cone on Contagious out of Robbie's in Islamorada, FL for last 10+ years and keep coming back for more as he fills the boat every trip with fish! Any Capt. can have a good day once in a while, but what makes Capt. Brian a Top 1% Capt. is he boats serious numbers of... More

Seventy-two hours or so have passed since experiencing something I never expected to do -- chase big fish on the waters of the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic with a real expert, Captain Mike Walter. This late 20's dude, and I mean that most admirably, took myself and two buddies out who were part of a group of 13... More

I along with 4 others, joined Captain Brian Cone on his 33 foot Contagious. It's a large Catamaran that makes boating pretty smooth even in rough waters (that doesn't mean he guarantees no sea sickness...me). We started the day out around 30 miles out in 600 feet of water and while the fishing conditions were not perfect that day, we... More
