We booked a snorkeling trip for our family of 8 adults and 4 children, one of who was only 9 months old. The entire experience was just wonderful. The boat was so big and the ride out to Alligator Reef was as smooth as could be. The boat captain and mates were so personable and helpful in every way for our family and children. They even had a life jacket for our 9 month old that they placed in the sun to warm it up before we took off. The excursion was one of the best things we did during our 3 week stay and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Great trip. Even though the water was a bit tough, their foam noodles conpensated for that. The crew was focused on safety and provided clear instructions on entry, exit, equipment use, etc.

Our family went snorkeling, I was skeptical but it was a truly amazing experience. Capt Willy and Deck hand Cody were amazing!! They were fun and informative! They put us in some of the best locations they could and it was truly an amazing experience fishing swam up and were within a few feet of you!! Definitely recommend

Sundance Water Sports is a great choice if you’re looking for a family friendly tour in Islamorada. We had originally planned a reef snorkel trip but the late fall winds and temperatures changed our minds. Sundance offers full refunds at least 24 hours before your trip if you need to cancel but we were able to switch to a sunset catamaran tour instead. They even let us bring our small dog at no extra fee. We love that the boat left from Robbie’s so we could enjoy a late lunch and feed the tarpon before the tour.

I had a friend visiting in town and wasn’t sure of plans so was making last minute reservations for the next morning. Most venues were booked or said they weren’t going out because it looked like the winds were too strong. Booked with Sundance and knew Robbie’s was a fun place to take an “out of towner”. Turned out we were able to snorkel “Chica rocks” and “the donut” and it was a great day! Visibility was good and so glad we went! Saw plenty of barracuda; a turtle; lots of fish and a Goliath Grouper! Thanks to the crew for making it a great day; especially when others were saying it wasn’t!

We had an incredible experience snorkeling. The crew was amazing—super attentive and always making sure we were having a great time. They recommended the best spots for snorkeling and were both fun and careful. My family and I had an amazing day. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

This was our second time snorkeling through Sundance Watersports located at Robbie’s marina. I cannot recommend them more. They take you to the best places to snorkel in the Florida keys. After, you can hang out at Robbie’s marina, win win!

We’ve snorkeled at Robbie’s with Sundance a couple times on each of our Keys trips over the past decade or so, and we’ve always had a great time. No complaints. Captain Willy and Mate Corey were outstanding. This and Silent World are our two favorite snorkeling boats.

About the 15th time I’ve taken this trip with Sundance. Always an awesome experience. Making sure the whole boat has a safe and fantastic time is what these people do. Captain Eamon is the absolute best in the Keys

Straight forward online booking.
Arrived in good time to collect our euipment and check in, all smooth and easy. Nice clean boat, clear briefing.Sailed out
Had about an hour and half to snorkel. We felt safe the whole time and saw some amazing sea life

Do you get in the water with us and take video or pictures? I have my own gopro in a waterproof case if you do not have the equipment. We are bringing two people with us who have never been to Florida, the Keys or even snorkeling....we want this to be a memorable trip as 90% of their trip will be a 1st for them....I would like some pictures myself as I am always the one taking them and never in them. Is this something you can do for us?

The crew didn’t get in the water for pictures. They stayed on board to watch those snorkeling and make sure everyone was ok while in the water. We bought a go pro and our camera got some amazing pics:)

We usually bring out boat when we come to Islamorada so we have our own snorkel gear. We are coming in for a quick trip. Can we bring our own equipment on your snorkel trip?

How many people are allowed on the snorkel trips? What is the typical group size?

Group size depends greatly on the time of year. Sometimes we go for 4 and sometimes 40. I’d guess our average is about 20. You can always call about a specific day and we can give you an accurate count. Our catamaran, Blue, is 65 feet long and 26 feet wide so you’ll never feel crowded.

Do you offer jet ski rental where my wife and I can go out on our own for a few hours or even small sail boats, if not do you know where we can rent either small 2 man sail boat or jet ski. we will be staying on key colony beach. Thanks for your time, Ed

From my experience they do not rent only. you do the tour with a guide then there is an area where you are free to go at max speed and have fun. this is due to mangrove, high reefs...

For jetskiing we offer a one hour guided excursion only and that is $149 + fuel surcharge + tax. Paddleboarding we offer hourly, half day and full day rentals at $35, $79 and $99.
