Fishing with Captain Steve was amazing. We loved it so much we did it for 3 days. Nothing beats the Everglades and the amount of wildlife you will see. Captain Steve knew where all the fish were. We caught everything-- a black tip shark, stingray, red fish, snook, mackrel, etc.

As others have said, Captain Steve knows his stuff. My husband and I have gone on other private guided charters in the Keys but none were as successful as this excursion lead by captain Steve. On first cast I had a mackerel on my line and the action barely stopped. We got more mackerel than we could eat so then we went for some crevalle jack for fun. We visited mangrove keys and marveled at the birds. Concluded the day watching tiger and lemon sharks chase our bait. Captain Steve was knowledgeable, friendly and hospitable. To say that my husband and I are amateurs is generous but we felt like experts under the guidance of the captain. His bay boat was perfect for our trip and the Angler Marina was a nice spot with a tiki bar perfect for when we landed back. We look forward to our next excursion with Captain Steve, A Fishing Guide.

This guy knows his stuff!!!! A real deal local who you can immediately tell has put in time to learn these waters and how to fish them. My wife hasn’t fished a day in her life and Steve had her catching fish left and right!!! Do yourself a favor and book with Steve. You won’t regret it!

Steve is a great guide! We went up to the Everglades National Park and got into a hot bite with Snapper which made for a great dinner that night. Also cooked up Yellow Jack and Trout. We fished for two days with Steve and caught at least 10 different species, including shark and barracuda. Steve is a great at finding the spots and avoiding the storms. Also very good at educating the kids on everything about the Keys and fishing.

Steve is an awesome fishing guide but he was booked so we went out with Captain Eddie who gave us an amazing day!! . He found us trout (which was delicious that he cut up for us to take home) and many other great fun fish to catch. He told hilarious stories, found the spots where the fish were biting and made us want to go back the next day! Don't forget to bring some beer (if that is a critical component of your fishing which it is mine) they provide the ice and cooler. Can't wait to go back!
