Just like most places in the keys, been to one, been to them all. We stopped in for bait, old selection to choose from. The live shrimp were very small but we wanted to take the kids fishing. The staff even give the kids some shrimp to feed the tarpons right off the dock.

Of course you can charter a boat here, get a bite to eat (I would pass), buy some supplies or even get a room. But this is a neat place to go in the afternoon, to hang out and check the action. The activity builds up when the boats come back from fishing. It's interesting to see the day's catch... More

My son was a fan of this marina based on the Weather Channel show, but after being there in person in a crisis, I would recommend going anywhere else. Our boat was in distress. We were sinking and pulled up to the marina for help. We were greeted by an employee who I thought was there to help since we... More

Let me start by saying the mate was awesome! That's the good part. Two minutes out the captain realizes we have a very large rope in the prop of the motor. It took almost two hours for the captain and two mates to free the motor. Meanwhile we were stranded!! There were 18 people on our charter that were fishing... More

Great people here to accommodate your desire to fish, dive, eat and play. This is the place to find what you want in the upper Keys. If they don't have it, they'll help you find it.

I have been coming here for 5 years. Its a good boat with a good crew. Usually the Captain and a deck hand sometimes another deckhand if it going to be crowded. They work their fannys' off to keep things going smoothly. Fishing the reefs is usually productive for Yellowtail snapper in the early summer. Once in awhile a big... More

Spoke to the guys about my fishing ambitions...wanted to catch a big Tarpon. The guys introduced me to Capt Mike Walters a real pro and put me on the fish, had Sting ray, Sharks & finally my 100lb Tarpon. Went to fish with Capt Jim Wilcox and had Snook and Big Sharks, finally out with Capt Gunner Guthrie and had... More

We went on the head boat. Capt. Walt was rude and was the worst experience I ever had. It was my birthday. It ruined it.

I have never written a review but felt our experience deserved my time to let others know what a great trip we had out of Bud and Mary's Marina with Captain Timmy Arce. Captain Timmy, a native to the area and well versed on the history of Islamorada, helped make our family trip perfect for our 3/4 day and 1/2... More
