Took my son fishing with another dad and his boys. Jimmy and Jordan were awesome! Kids reeled in a 65lb grouper, caught mahi, tilefish, black belly rose, and tilefish. These guys know their stuff and made sure the young boys had a blast. Highly recommend!

What an awesome trip. Windy and rough seas but still did well. We’ve been out of Bud and Mary’s several tie and always catch something. Not true for Robbies, twice with them we didn’t catch a thing.
Jude the captains mate was great at moving around and helping everyone as well as giving tips on fishing. When the boat was stopped the captain assisted too.
Thanks Jude and sorry I don’t remember the Captains name. You both did good by us.
Due to the COVID-19 only a limited number of passengers were on the boat so be sure to tip well. They were shut down for two months without customers.
Definately going back, maybe in two weeks!

We booked a last minute 1/2 day trip with Captain Mike Nichols. Anyone who writes a bad review on this guy is just either over expectant or an idiot . Mike is very knowledgeable , super laid back and easy to get along with. Sadly 1/2 day is not nearly enough but we still had a good time. We caught a couple of fish and something huge that both my husband and I fought taking turns for about an hour . We just got to see its shadow when sadly it broke off . Mike said it was an enormous approximately 600 lb saw fish . The cracken as we affectionately called it was a fight worth the trip . We got on some tarpon at the end of our trip and hooked one long enough to see it jump twice before it spit the bait 😢😭. But all is fair in love and fishing we still had a great time with this Captain and would definitely book him again. Thankx Mike your the man 😁

My family planned a boating trip for the day with this place. However, the people that booked our trip knew that we wouldn’t even be able to go the next day because of the waves. Us not knowing this, woke up at 5 am and took a drive to the place. The captain was EXTREMELY rude and told us we’d have to pay for his boat if it got damaged and acted like our time meant nothing. No one ever apologized for not giving us a simple phone call saying the trip was cancelled and we had to ask to have our money refunded, they were not offering it. I would not recommend taking your family to this place, for they are very unreliable and rude.

Went fishing back country with Capt Jim Willcox. Absolutely one of our best fishing trips ever. The wind was bad out on the flats so Capt Jim took my wife and I up a creek into the Everglades. We were on fish on every stop. It's also very apparent how much knowledge and respect Capt Jim has for the Florida Keys ecosystem. We saw a plethora of wildlife including crocodiles, eagles, osprey, ibis, and pelicans. We caught a ton of fish too. Nothing huge, but we didnt have time to get bored. Snook, redfish, and even a small tarpon found their way into the boat. My wife doesn't fish much at all but Capt Jim made sure she was comfortable and having fun. She ended up catching more and bigger fish than me. Everytime she hooked up, Capt Jim was super enthusiastic and a very good coach getting my novice wife to land fish after fish. Of note as well, we stayed at Bud N Mary's on the houseboat Sail Fish. It was clean, comfortable, and the views were breathtaking. We will be back. Thanks for an amazing trip and a lifetime of memories.

Backcountry fishing with Cap. James Klein was great. I took my wife and two kids age 12 & 15 out with him. Neither of the girls are big fishermen but they had a blast. My son caught a tarpon, my daughter caught big triple tails, my wife caught a big hammerhead, and we all caught a ton of jacks. I never write reviews but this was worth it. We had a great experience!

If I can leave no stars I would. I would not recommend this piece of garbage company for the lack of professionalism and lack of safety for other boaters from their charter boat called Relentless. We were out fishing on our boat and we saw this boat plow right towards another smaller boat cutting off their fishing lines and then came straight towards my boat where we were fishing in order to push us out of the way. The lack of consideration towards others boaters and not only that the safety of their passengers this captain puts at risk is not how you run a company. They do not know how to fish as they have to bully other boats to get the spots they were in and they can’t find other spots to fish. Don’t waste your money nor time.

I booked a 1/2day Mahi fishing trip many months ago. I drove 9hrs from Jax. Fl. Wife and I was very excited about Mahi fishing. We got on the boat Endeavor and headed out. I told the captain my wife has never caught a dolphin before and was excited about catching some. He told me we were not Mahi fishing, I would have to book a full day of fishing to catch Mahi. That's BULL-SH/T, years earlier I went on two different occasions on 4 hour trips and caught Mahi. When I booked the trip for a half day, I specified to the lady I wanted to go Mahi fishing and there was not a problem. I can fish in my back yard if I wanted to catch trash fish. That was the only words the captain spoke the whole trip. I waisted $1150. and would NOT recommend Bud n' Mary's or the ENDEAVOR for fishing!!!!!

We booked a flats boat for two one day and offshore trip for six the next.

Both trips produced more fish than we could eat. Kids loved every bit of both trips - exhausted after a day of fishing.

Both captains took great care of the kids.

We have been using Bud and Mary’s since 1990 - best source of charter boats on the Keys.

Went for a half day trip with Bill Bassit. Brought my wife along for the trip who is very inexperienced with fishing in general. For that reason we told Bill that we just wanted to have a good time and catch whatever we could. Bill put us on snapper early and was amazing - he was very patient and taught my wife everything that was needed. When my wife got excited after seeing a bull shark Bill quickly put her on the Bull and my wife was able to catch her first shark. Ended up catching a pair of Bonnetheads towards the end of the trip as well. I had an amazing time and the next time we come back down we will 100% be hoping to go out with Bill once again!
