Nice beach, easy access

On a very windy day this was a calm spot in the Keys. The beach area is small, but a nice bay for swimming and snorkeling.

I love this little beach! There are swings and a newly renovated playground! There are grills to cook on and a Tiki covered picnic area. There are bathrooms and a shower to change before or after swimming. This is close to my house and I frequently take my kids to play.

would be a good spot to take small children, but even my teens had fun playing in the water there. Be careful as the water does get deep in the canal. It has a sandy beach, grass, swings and lots of play equipment for the little ones.

Great spot to hangout with little ones. Beautiful view. There are restrooms and some play equipment for kids. Couple picnic tables for lunch or a snack. Can't beat it for free!

Nice relaxing very small public spot. Great place to let small children out to run around and burn off energy. Picnic lunch could be had. Boats will go by randomly. This is NOT a beach.

Shallow water, a play park, bathroom facilities & outdoor shower. Good for younger children. Not really a beach in the true sense of the word as not much sand to dig in, but it would keep the kids entertained.

This used to be a "local" secret....small little beach tucked behind the library with bathroom facitities and a playground...but it has been discovered!! Still a great little place to hang out during the week. They are, however, building condos directly north of the beach....this might take away from the privacy and quaintness we have enjoyed ...

Great little place to snorkel for kids. Just be careful, boats will sometimes come in to pass through, use a divers buoy. You can see lots of fishand nurse sharks here.

So we stopped by here after seeing some reviews. I did see a wonderful iguana take off toward the water. We never made it into the water to try the snorkeling there, but we could see the appeal. It did seem a little deserted when we were there. However, my husband and son used the facilities to change and said... More

This modest little beach park is tucked away behind the Islamorada Public Library. Facilities include an outdoor shower, bathrooms and changing rooms. There is also a playground for young children and a small picnic shelter with a table. It is a small beach on a canal that leads to a bay. Swim at your own risk and watch out for... More
