Was very impressed with the self-guided tour booklet describing the history, trees and ecological environment. Kids enjoyed the hikes and old machines there! Awesome place to stop by for a walk and something unique and interesting!

This park offer an interesting glimpse of what it took to build the keys railroad. The quarry is fascinating and those of all ages will enjoy seeing what creatures are captured in the coral. They have several trails of various lengths and difficulties, but nothing...More

This place is OK, but don't expect to be blown away. It was a quarry for when Flagler was building the railroad. The fossils are just the standard ones that make up the coral stone that you see all over Florida. When we visited, the...More

Plenty to see, including fossils. Abandoned quarry, but a nice way to spend some time. Picnic tables available, guides usually there. Brochures will help you find your way around. Some old machines used for the quarry.

Cool fossils and historical quarries. Lots of different Keys trees and critters. I've been coming down to Islamorada 20+ years, but I still learned a few new things at Windley Key today.
