This is the second winter in a row that I have had the great pleasure to experience 3 weeks of cooking lessons with Chef Martha Hubbard. Last year I came into the lessons with an inability to distinguish a pot from a pan. As a result of those lessons, I have been able to actually cook meals for my wife after 30 years of her cooking for me. And she has remained healthy from all of them.
This year was even better as I learned specifically the meals that I have wanted to prepare for a long time including beef stew, beef barley soup, lentil soup, chicken breast in a pan cooked with potatoes and onions, pork chop in a pan cooked with potatoes and onion, the perfect salad along with how to make vinaigrette dressing, meatloaf, chicken Parmesan. She also taught me about the best way to make a roast.
When she finished, I have complete confidence in my ability to cook all of these in a non-deadly way, and my wife is happy, which is the best part.
Martha is patient, accommodates all questions, is prepared in advance for every single meal, is a world class chef herself with decades of experience and is personally delightful.
I cannot recommend this experience highly enough. I suspect that she is even better when teaching people who actually know something about cooking.

We have had 2 visits with Isle Cook during our Key West stay & both were wonderful!
First we did a food & wine pairing. Chef Martha did an amazing job with our food bites & Eden brought great wines to the table. Fun afternoon. Last night we did an evening learning about & how to make curry pastes, yummy.
Not everyone's into curry but the calendar has other fun, different options. Different & another vacation evening option.
Eden, Bill & Chef Martha are warm & welcoming & the shop is a delight also.

If you are a foodie, this place is a must! Chef Martha is amazing and Eden and Bill are such gracious hosts that it kinda feels like your sitting in their kitchen just enjoying everything they have to offer; from food to wine to a little island gossip. I love this place and would go every single day if I lived in town.

We attended the first Brewfest dinner with Chef Wayne Keller at Isle Cook and it was marvelous. The food was excellent and, of course, Bill and Eden are fantastic hosts. We will be back for another dinner. It is such a nice change to have something like this in Key West and it will become one of our favorite things to do. Mary andBill

The lady at the Audubon House informed me that this shop was no longer a shop but a dining experience. It needs to have its status change to a restaurant.

We have thoroughly enjoyed events at Isle Cook over the last 5 months. Most recently, the tastings on Saturday and the dinners, especially the Vegetarian Dinner last night, have been superb!!! Chef Martha's creative dishes are magical. Hosts Eden and Bill, and their warm hospitality, always make for a perfect time with friends.

Every dinner is absolutely amazing when Chef Martha Hubbard is cooking. I tried four different things that I have never experienced until last night.
Every Chefs dinner at Isle Cook is amazing. Last night Carnivore Dinner with Chef Martha Hubbard was exceptional. Not only did I experience four new foods (and by the way totally loved them) her culinary talent just was mind blowing. Eden and Bill wine pairings are always spot on...if you want a culinary experience that is beyond any restaurant...Isle Cook is the place for you...

Once again we tasted Martha Hubbard’s culinary talents. The dinner tonight was beyond wonderful. Brought friends who also loved this venue. It is delicious, fun, and a wonderful experience. My only issue is that the events book quickly and we are left wanting. I give cudos to Eden , Bill and Martha who provide an amazing evening of entertainment with exceptional outsatanding food, and wine. Love, love this place.

I just celebrated my birthday at Isle Cook and enjoyed the fabulous cooking of Chef Martha Hubbard. Last night's dinner was a tribute to country and French cooking. We started with a Belgian endive, leeks and gruyere, baked to perfection. This was followed by chicken and waffles but with a twist. The buckwheat waffles were topped with chicken confit, chicken livers, fried onion rings with a maple syrup sauce!! Then we enjoyed Snowy Grouper in a saffron tomato broth topped with Key West pink shrimp. And to round the evening dessert was a an apple and pear tartin with Rainer cherry sauce. All courses were served with some lovely French wines. Absolutely heavenly!
