We returned several times. Fun, welcoming locals. Area for large and small dogs and just short walk east of Dog Beach.

Wonderful opportunity to vacation with my pets, every pet owner we encountered may our trip enjoyable by following rules and regulations. Going to the keys is always a great trip, it becomes even more satisfying to have my dachshunds joining. I would recommend taking your pets to the beach.

It's great that KW has a dog park. It was created during the time that I lived there full time. So it's nice to know that if you are visiting there is a fenced place for your dog to run around and check out the local dogs. I think it still has a segregated areas for small and large dogs.... More

Watch your steps, a lot of dogs poo around the park. The promotion say this is a "dog's beach" and the beach is around 400 feet away from this park. This is just a park, and is not well grassed. Many Loiters in the area too. I visit Chicago a lot and there are a few real dog's beaches. This... More

We participated in the SPCA at Higgs Beach as their annual fundraiser. What a wonderful event to provide funds to the shelter. Our dog, Morgan, raise $300 in donation to walk in the parade. The vendors provided great food and products for our pets. Over 100 dogs participated in the event. The park was very clean.

We were staying nearby and walked our golden doodle there every day. She enjoyed the open space to run free and play with the other dogs. The old-timers there were friendly and glad to have a new addition to the mix. The park is very well-maintained with lots of poop bags handy throughout the park, along with fresh water for... More

beach is located very conveniently in Key West with parking available. However, water and beach itself is not very nice. There is a lot of seaweed that produce pretty bad smell. There are other places with much nicer water.

I bring my dog here to play with his friends and he gets to run and run. I have met some very nice humans here and as a new resident it was a place where I met two of my new best friends. All the people are nice and pick up after their dogs. The dogs enjoy the fresh water.... More

We are visitors to KW and have had some unpleasant experiences with Dog Parks in other parts of the country. We were very cautious as we approached, checking out the dogs there that day. We were prepared to leave at the first sign of aggression. Fortunately we did not see any aggressive dogs, so we let ours in. Took him... More
