Group of 15 retired folks just had a great experience on the Wine & Sunset cruise with Danger Cruises. Our trip was on January 11, 2019; weather was perfect and sunset was spectacular. The crew did a super job of boarding/reviewing safety items/sailing and making...More

Wonderful experience in a small group. The crew of three made everything seem easy and more than made the few hours very enjoyable. We were on a morning adventure, thought it might be a little cool but it worked out great as we kayaked around...More

I can’t say enough about our experience. Nate was our captain and Derick was our mate. There were three other couples on board. We got some history of Key West, a delightful sail, snorkeling and kayak. Derick cut and served fresh fruit on the sail...More

Even though it was chilly, the wind and wine was hands down our favorite part of our week in Key West. Nick and the rest of the crew were personable and knowledgeable about wine and sailing. Of course the sunset took my breath away! Calmer...More

We made the mistake of doing this tour on a day it was 65-degrees, so very cold on the water. Even so, we’d give them 5-stars. Our group had about 10-people. The crew interacted in a way that made everyone feel at ease. They provided...More

We had a blast on the sunset wine cruise. The wines were varied and delicious. The apps were also quite good and paired beautifully with the wines. The group favorite was the manchego, sausage, and fig sticks. While the wine and food were great, the...More

Naturally the quality of the sunset and food and beverages can depend on your expectations and tastes. We were fortunate to have liked three of the six wines in the selection served. Our snacks we're also varied;tortilini skewers, caprese salad on a skewer, shrimp cocktail...More

We had an amazing time on the half day cruise, sailing, snorkeling, and kayaking. What a great way to experience the keys. The crew was fun, knowledgeable, and entertaining. I highly recommend an adventure with these guys.

We’ve been coming to Key West for 20 years. This was our first sunset cruise. Evan and crew made it awesome! Danger is the best!

Check the website. We have only been on the sunset cruise, so don’t know about the afternoon cruise. The Danger Charters boats go out from the harbor across from the Margaritaville Resort. It is a medium distance walk to the... More

Schooner sunset sail question (2 Replies)
Hello all! We arrive next week and would like to do a sunset sail. I think we’d like a schooner for this as we are going to do the Island Ting on a catamaran. Anyway, deciding between Danger Charters Wind and Wine (a little more $) or Sebago Appledore Champagne Sunset Sail. Any strong preferences for one over the other? Thanks in advance!

Higgs Beach (17 Replies)
Hubby and I love to snorkel when in the FL Keys. We've done tours (Sebago and Danger Charters), Dry Tortugas and Bahia Honda (off shore as we haven't been able to go on a tour to Looe Key because our scheduled trip for the past 2 years always got cancelled due to strong/high waves). I have been reading about off shore snorkeling from Fort Zachary and Higgs Beach. Where exactly in Fort Zachary? We've tried there several times with no luck. We haven't tried Higgs Beach because we were...More

We didn't go swimming at Higgs, but the water looked beautiful from the beach last weekend. We took a few pictures there and rode by there on the scooter several times. Most times, there were several people in the water.

which snorkeling charter? large or smaller charter? (5 Replies)
We are traveling in a few weeks and I've done some research but am still undecided. Is the snorkeling better out at the reef, or is it the same just about anywhere? I ask because I like the idea of a smaller boat like Danger Charters, but I don't think they go the reef. So I'm wondering if we should go with one of the larger boats like Fury/Sebago, that do go to the reef. I have it my head that we "should" go to the reef and have just confused myself by overthinking this!! TIA.

do you think I can wait to book with them when I get down there? or do you recommend reservation because they limit the amount of people they take? thanks for the suggestion - just what I was looking for!
