We had a fun, full day with Danger to bring in the new year! We were with Danger Charters from 9:15-3:00 and had a blast! Our captain was Brian, and Joe and Rachel were also on our boat with us.
When we first got on the boat (about 20 people), we all introduced ourselves and told where we were from. Next, we had a great ride out to a snorkel spot. Joe gave us some great history about Key West and the islands. I wasn’t expecting to learn while on our trip, but I definitely did!
We went to a great snorkel spot and kayaked through some mangroves. We stuck with Rachel during the kayaking, and if you are interested learning about the plants/animal life, stay close by because she shares information during the kayak tour. It was great!
We were served sandwiches, cheese and crackers, pasta salad, and quinoa salad for lunch. We were also given chips, salsa, and hummus as a snack on our way back to the dock. It was all so great!
My favorite part of the tour was that it was so small and personal. Both guides, Joe and Rachel, spoke to each group. They asked where we were from, what kind of jobs we did, etc. They knew basically everyone’s names in the first 20 minutes of our trip! They would yell our names across the boat while they were getting refills to make sure we didn’t need refills. It was definitely the best service I have gotten on any type of tour!
I would highly suggest going on an adventure with Danger Charters! We will definitely be back with them on our next trip to Key West!
