We took a ride on the Old Town Trolley Tour 🚃 in our most recent trip that stopped in Key West, Florida.
We’ve never been here before so no better way to learn about a new city like taking a city tour. This tour had 14 stops throughout the city with narration about the history of the city the entire ride. Our driver Steve was the best and he knew all of his history about the city. Never knew so much history was in this town. If you are ever in Key West, Florida make sure you take a trolley tour to learn some cool details.
We give this trolley tour a 9/10 and would definitely take it again
The trolley tour for both of us was $125.90 including taxes for all day hop on hop off access from any of the 14 stops around the city. We purchased our tickets closest to the cruise port entrance/exit other locations we checked had slightly higher prices.

Listening to the tour guide was an excellent educational experience. My wife and I have been to Key West several times and seen most of the historical and cultural sites. But from this trip we leaned more about them as well as some of the smaller and less written about locations around town. It also was a fun way to travel, more relaxed than the biking we usually do and nicely connected with the city's bus system to get us home again.

We used Old Town Trolley Tours for transportation for our wedding and could not have been more pleased with their service! Troy made booking the trolley simple and stress-free and responded to all emails very quickly. Our driver for the day was Patrick. He was fantastic and very accommodating of our group. He even gave us a mini “tour” on the way to our reception and talked about all the sights and locations we were passing along the way. I would definitely recommend Old Town Trolley tours for reliable and unique group transportation!

When Our cruise ship stopped for the day in Key West Fl., wife & I booked this
tour through the ship. The tour is located within walking distance of the cruise terminal at Mallory Square. The tour vehicle is actually a bus, built specifically to resemble a trolley car. This allows the tour to travel on the main highway as well as the narrow streets of the town. The driver provides a running narrative as he points out highlites & associated history. The tour takes approximatey 2+ hours, and takes you all over the island. The trolley provided a relatively safe & comfortable ride,

We enjoyed our time with this company. Easy to buy tickets on line and get a small discount. Easy to get on and off. You should tip each driver and that can add up. I also wished that they ran later in the day. A good way to get around the city and get overall understanding of the area. All the drivers add their own twist. The cost of the ticket does include a tour and tasting at the rum distillery. Which makes the cost a better deal. They do try to run many on a regular time schedule. I do recommend.

The Old town trolley takes you on a hop on and hop off basis to all the many attractions of key west. You are allowed the flexibility of boarding and leaving the bus as and when you want.
The trolleys are regular and the drivers give professional commentaries to visitors.

We have toured Boston, St. Augustine, Nashville and, now, Key West with Old Town Trolley tours. We love the convenience and how the tours maximize the efficiency of our time as tourists.Our guides have always been knowledgable, often humorous and Key West guide, Sawaya was funny and helpful and a joy to be with. Great way to really enjoy the charming community of Key West.

I've used these hop on hop off tours in several cities and Key West does pretty good. The drivers were very knowledgeable, good natured, and very considerate drivers. The busses are in good condition and the stops are well planned. I dropped them one star because the key stops from the Southermost Point buoy and the north end of Duval Street just get too crowded for the busses to handle really well...especially when a cruise ship is in. I don't know if there's an answer to that.

Staff adhering to CDC guidelines and you must wear face mask even on the tour. Our guide Derek was so informative and made the tour enjoyable. Great way to see the entire city without trying to find parking.

It was rather expensive for what it was. You do get a good overview of the main sights with some fun narration, but they would need a few more running in order to really take advantage of the hop on hop off. We got off at Duvall Street to have lunch and visit the shops. Afterward it was difficult to get back on since many of the trolleys were too full for comfort. We wound up with the very last one of the day and missed a few stops in the middle. It turned out to be a very expensive shuttle ride down and back for us.

Our Ship docks at 3:30. We want to see Hemingway House which closes at 5 but would also like to see Key West. It appears this is a great way to go, but I'm afraid that the tours stop at 5 pm. I would like to hop on and off all day, but this seems like the wrong way to go if they close at 5. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

You can easily take a complete trolley trip, 90 minutes for 13 stops, and then take another trip to stop where you want to and then get back on trolley.
