We took our dog and will go back because it is the only one. The other reviews are accurate. It is a small area. Water was murky. It was a little smelly. I was not bothered by this and just enjoyed some water time with my dog. I would not however recommend it for sunning or reading. I will have... More

Well when I visited the beach I expected to find a nice beach with lots of dogs and owners having fun and playing with their dogs. Saw some great pictures on a shiny day and beautiful retriever and other playful dogs. But in the end it's just that average hamburger which feeds you in the end of the night, not... More

Haha, and we stumbled upon this dog beach. Its about the size of my living room. The water is murky and smells a bit, but it at least gave us a place to sit in the sand. We had to eventually break into the Waldorf Historia beach to relax a bit. G Man

This is a beach in the sense that it has a bit of sand and is on the ocean. What it really is is an alley between two buildings that runs into the ocean. I am so glad that my husband and I decided to check this out prior to bringing our small dog. When we arrived I was shocked... More

This is just a small beach next to Louis'. Some dogs love it. Not mine. I think he didn't care for the salt water. Part of KW charm but i wouldn't build my day around it. Easy walk, easy parking. So try it. Your dog might prefer the dog park (fenced) just up the road near the White Street pier.

Although this beach is small and alot of the sand is eroded away, it does have a perfect little bunch of palm trees the makes the beach look really nice in pictures. Our dog has been here many times and loves to play with other dogs both in the water and out. We were glad to see that they finally... More

This is a tiny slice of beach dedicated to dogs...so small, it's not worth the trouble...find another beach for your dog up the keys....not many beaches themselves are dog-friendly...Ft. Zach and some other state parks alllow dogs on leashes, but no dogs allowed on beach areas or in the water...Sombrero beach in Marathon is dog friendly...leashed dogs please...:)

We have been here with our dogs early in the mornings. We always met nice people and even it is small we enjoyed this spot. I apreciate that Ket West has a dog park. I like visying Key West because it's dog friendly. A lot of stores along Duval street offering fresh water for the dogs.

Went there for a day visit. We asked a local shopkeeper about nice beaches around the area. He gave us a map and pointed us toward South Beach at the end of Duval Street, Dog Beach and another beach at the end of Simonton Street. I cannot believe it that we walked for 18 blocks back and forth to see... More

We watched some dogs play in the water at the very small dog beach while having drinks at Louis' Back Yard. It is sandy and the dogs were enjoying the romp in the water.
