This is a 25 to 30 foot wide, 200 foot long pier. Al, the main bartender is excellent....amazing how he finds time for extra attention. The sunset view is great and the music was surprisingly good. It does clear out after sunset so don't plan to spend the whole evening there.

First time in town and knew that we had to be here early to get a spot for the best show in town. (The sunset). Everyone arrives around 4:30-5pm to try and get a seat so come hungry and thirsty and just watch the view. Drinks are great and service is good. Didn't try the food but smelled/looked good. They... I first attended sunset in 1975. I think there were twelve of us. In the early eighties, this was still fun. Things started going down hill in the late eighties. Today this is a mess! Thousands of people milling around watching some of the most unimaginative and talentless buskers I have ever seen. Huge cruise ship overshadowing everything. To further... More

The six of us grabbed a table one afternoon to listen to some live music, sip some beverages and wait for the sunset. Good place to also watch the many boats sail around as the sun sets. We each had two drinks and a couple of appetizer snacks. The drinks were just okay (they really don't have to be great... More

Better sunset location than Mallory, and better music talent. We went there to see sunset and stayed long after enjoying music and drinks. Returned next night and had same experience. Festive, friendly crowd and staff.

it's a fun shared group experience to cheer the setting of the sun..everyone claps..with a drink in hand and lover by your side...just be sure to be there when there's not a giant cruise ship blocking the view..

Sunset Pier is a fun place to go and see all of the entertainers along the pier. Don't forget to check out the "Cat Man"! ;) There's great entertainment, music, and food all along the pier. And last, but definitely not least, bring your camera for the amazing sunsets!
