I absolutely loved touring the museum. The tours are given by retired fire chiefs. Very interesting to learn how the fire service in Key West has evolved to what it is today. Definitely check this museum out.

Chief Castro has a lot of stories to tell and the firehouse contains so much history. Especially interesting for current and former firefighters. Be willing to take your time to see everything

My boyfriend is a firefighter and he absolutely loved the tour of the old fire station. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable for not having originated in Key West. There was so much to see, we stayed for awhile taking about everything.

It was a great experience. The tour was led by very knowledgeable former firefighters from the island. They packed a lot of the department and island history into the old fire station 3.

The transformation of the Oldest Firehouse in South Florida is a true museum and relic! The people who have transformed this historic building are truly the salt of the earth! Their fundraisers to keep up the maintenance and costs always involve the best homemade chili!
