We had an amazing time here at the Key West Firehouse Museum. The place is very well presented, with a big amount of surprises and treasures. But the best part is the tour. We had the honor of being guided by a former Chief of that same Fire station when it was active. And he spent almost 3 hours with... More

My girlfriend and I are in emergency service and thought it would be cool to see the old fire house. It was better then I expected! Our tour guide is a retired chief form the department who's family had roots in the department for almost 100 years, so not only was he knowledgeable but he had amazing war stories of... More

Met retired Chief Edwin Castro who gave us an informative, personal tour & history lesson not only of the Key West Fire Dept but also of Key West. Saw some great historical working fire alert systems which rivals forms of modern fire emergency communication!! Great historical memorabilia from Old Fire Trucks, equipments, hoses, pictures & videos of actual fires. It's... More

Great history here I am on the job in Massachusetts and really enjoyed my experience. The staff is retired brothers from the job. They also had an engine company there and got to talk to the crew. A lot of history condensed into a historic firehouse. A must for any firefighter or just a history buff.

My husband and I stumbled upon this little gem in Key West. Our tour guide Ed, who is an ex fire chief of Key West gave us a great experience in the life of early fire fighters and history of Key West. He shared with us history, humor and personal stories about his time as a Fire Chief. Lots of... More

Had a great afternoon here and learned loads not just about the fire house but also Key West. The ex Fire Chief took us around and told us some great stories. Expected to spend about an hour here but tour went on for two and a half hours. Run through ticket sales so go in for a visit.
