Some of the most beautiful rugs, wood artifacts and jewelry ever. Completely hands-on staff who voyage far away to bring these jewels to you. WAY Friendly. Enthusiastic about your desires and how to fulfill them.

We were most impressed with Keith, the knowledgeable salesperson at Archeo Gallery, with the quality of the Gabbeh rugs, and also with the helpfulness in finding off the beaten path places to go on Key West (e.g., the Azur restaurant)! The merchandise was first-rate and we will definitely return on our next visit!!

I love this gallery! When you walk in you will be taken by the aroma of faraway places. The 100% wool Gabbeh rugs are gorgeous and the friendly staff can explain each tribal symbol on these handmade rugs. The African jewelry is to die for....all antique and hand collected by the staff on their adventurous trips to Africa! The staff will help you select the perfect piece for your home, provide your with the history of the item and will even ship it to your home!

What's so great about this gallery is everything makes you want to touch and live with it, and you actually can. The rugs look and feel like lush fur and are as sturdy, too. The furniture is like big strong bones that can do real work (like hold things, or support your feet), and the works for display are as familiar and compelling as old tools. Everything grabs you by the senses and draws you in rather than suggesting that you keep your distance. The staff is like that, too. They've all personally traveled to the places (Africa, Iran, Indonesia) where the art is sourced, and their stories are but one more bit of hands-on contact with the objects here. Forget art to stare at: Archeo sells art to handle and love, which only makes it more beautiful.

This store is amazing!! A feast for the eyes and soul with a staff that delights with their warmth and knowledge of the treasures they sell in their beautiful store. Their enthusiasm for the beautiful Gabbeh rugs and African sculpture they carry is so infectious and their selection of carpets offers a wide range of colors, patterns and sizes of this art form. They willingly display their treasures and help clients gain an appreciation and understanding of them. Check out their great website too!
