My girlfriend and I met Captain Patrick at 6:30 AM and began the day with some reef fishing. We caught yellowtail snappers heavy for an hour or so and easily reached our limit. I also caught a filefish that looked pretty cool.
Once the snapper bites slowed down, we began trolling for something a bit bigger which we quickly found. My girlfriend and I caught a barracuda each before I landed a third barracuda that became bait for fairly large hammerhead shark. I couldn't tell you how big the shark was, but Captain Patrick may remember; I'm guessing around 9 feet.
We pulled up the anchor around noon and headed back to the marina where Captain Patrick cleaned the snappers for us. We had a few of the filets cooked at a restaurant in Islamorada and froze the rest. The snapper is delicious. I prefer them blackened. My girlfriend likes them fried with tartar sauce. Whatever floats your boat.
Captain Patrick has a positive attitude and is a great conversationalist. He keeps a clean boat and knows where the fish are. I will be going fishing with him again when I make my way back to Key West.

This was a perfect 3 hour tour for our family! Patrick’s ship was impeccably clean, he had plenty of sanitizer and wore a face covering anytime he came close to us. We caught tons of fish, just for fun, and he helped to get a huge barracuda on the line for my husband to reel in! Our daughters, 7 and 10 years old, had a great time, and he fulfilled both girls requests, fishing and seeing dolphins. Patrick went out of his way to three different areas and stayed out almost 30 mins longer than we had scheduled just so we could watch the dolphins. We HIGHLY recommend this company. Thank you Patrick!

Took the family to the Keys for vacation. Before arriving, we scheduled a fishing trip on Tuesday and a private island trip on Friday. Captian Patrick text me the Monday before regarding the weather and suggested we swap days, which ended up being a godsend! Turned out those who fished on Tuesday were rained out while we had a wonderful time on the island! As a bonus, we got to see some dolphins along the way! The Friday fishing trip for my teenage son and me was great as well! Captian Patrick filet the fish and recommended some local restaurants that would prepare to our liking. We followed his recommendation, and the fish was delicious! We appreciate Captian Patrick for his hospitality and would highly recommend him for those visiting the Keys!

The whole process of fishing with Captain Patrick was flawless from reservations until fish were clean! Instructions on how to find his Boat to assistance in fishing, was outstanding. He took right to the correct spot to catch Yellowtail Snapper and then we had great fun catching Barracuda. Excellent trip, boat was immaculate, equipment was great and Patrick was fun to be with! I would totally recommend!

My father has been fishing most of his life and he wanted to fish in the keys. From the first contact Patrick and Manny made the booking of a fishing charter very easy. They stayed in constant contact thru our trip we booked to Key West. We met with Manny the day before the charter and he throughly explained everything to us and stated that the winds were high and that the weather may not be the best for our fishing charter and that they would rather have us enjoy a good fishing trip than take our payment for a fishing trip during inclement weather. He advised that he would update us the morning of our charter what the weather conditions were then. Manny called us the morning of our charter to advise us that the weather and high winds were not the best for our fishing trip. We mutually agreed to cancel that booking due to the weather conditions. Many fishing charters would have just taken your money and have you experience a poor fishing experience. The honesty, knowledge and the fact that they remained in constant contact from booking to the day of the charter speaks volumes about Patrick and Manny and their charter business. We are definitely going to rebook a future fishing charter with them soon and we are definitely recommending this fishing charter to anyone!!! They are top notch!!!

Came to the Keys with my wife , from Sacramento, CA. Decided to do a solo run fishing ,and after looking around online I gave Capt. Patrick a call.
He explained to me before hand exactly what kind of fishing we would be able to do, because they had choppy waters at the time. He also told me where we would go, and what kind of fish we can expect.
And boy, he was right ! We got 3 big lemon sharks, wich had me give it my all in order to reel them in! Last one had 8ft in length. Lots of fun. Also caught a bunch of snappers.
Very upfront and honest guy. Also very knowledgable, being a commercial boat captain for many years.
This is exactly what you want in your charter .
Also, he runs a stable ,clean boat !
When fishing in key west, choose Captain Patrick and you won't be disappointed!! Will definitely be back.

My husband and I wanted to do something different in the keys so we booked a fishing charter with Capt. Patrick and he did not disappoint. He is fairly priced and brought us to some amazing fishing spots! We didn't catch much BUT he made the trip worth while! We had enough for dinner that night which wad the goal but Capt. Patrick gave us an amazing experience and I would for sure book him again when we are in town!

Patrick was amazing and so great with the kids. We had an amazing trip, caught fish, and swam and snorkeled at a private beach! Everything we needed was provided. Patrick was very professional and knowledgeable. We even got to stop and see the dolphins! A must if you’re in the Florida Keys!

We had an amazing time fishing. My teenage boys had so much fun and Captain Patrick was very attentive to our needs. The boat was also big and clean! To me the best part of the trip was eating the fish!

This company we encountered by coincidence because the cool submarine experience was cancelled. We were offered for 295 two choices, to see sunset, dolphins, fishing,or snorkeling etc etc... we were happy to just go snorkeling. We weren't demanding to see dolphins or anything else that was optional on that sheet simply because seeing animals in the wild, simply is NOT something anyone can control. We were glad to just snorkel in the reefs and see those beautiful fish and the beautiful reefs. The RIP OFF was when the captain whom seemed to reek of alcohol, decided to take us near a Naval base and assured us that in that area there were dolphins and reefs. I've got him on camera telling us that the naval base area were the reefs and the dolphins. After being suckered into believing that there were fish down there and that we would "SHOULD SEE THEM" in all the while we struggled trying to see something and nothing!!! we got to see the sunset for $295 though! well we could have totally rented a boat of our own and not had to smell the alcohol on DANNY AKA DAN! He seemed to be so nice to us though why a cynical dude! we didn't pay 295 for him to be nice to us we payed 295 to snorkel in the reefs!!!! Please if there is anyone who ever goes here please don't do any other experience other than fishing cause you will get ripped off!!! & i say fishing without knowing if they actually know how to take their tourists on that!!! one word for this company is PIRATES waiting to prey on tourists and people who don't know the keys. Sad that the keys has people like this! they should be ashamed.
After the trip the next day i called captain PAT who was excusing his fellow captain named Dan (DANNY). kept referring to what his captain told him. According to the captain we were "having a good time". Well of course we were! Cause the keys were something new and we didn't know any better that the reefs were not just 1 mile away from the bay, at the naval base area!!! they offered 2 experiences and we were given 1 and that was the sunset. We were suckers total suckers!
Cant believe these people would rob us right before our eyes!
Avoid this company and these captains at all cost!!!

I would like to begin by telling everyone that we have been in business in Key West for over 20 years and have thousands of satisfied customers from all over the world. It is a shame that someone would be allowed to write such comments like we were the most terrible people on the planet. This group apparently had such high expectations that they were not going to be satisfied before they even stepped foot on the boat.
Let's begin by saying Capt Dan does not even drink alcohol. Next this group was told they would have a choice of up to 2 items for there 2 hr excursion which is standard for that trip. They wanted to see the dolphins, snorkel and see the sunset. So obviously that was more than the allotted amount but we always try to make everyone happy, not according to this group however, so we agreed to let them do all three. The trip was also only two hours however they were having such a good time snorkeling Capt Dan decided to let them stay out longer, so he could get all of the requested events completed , for a total of three hours. Our three hour trip sells for the price of 395.00 in which they only paid 295.00 so this group already received a 100.00 discount.
So not only did they receive an extra event they also received 100.00 off of regular price. Now let's discuss this problem with the customer saying we just stayed near the navy base. I personally have spent my entire life hear in Key West and am an avid spear fisherman so I spent thousands of hours scouring the ocean bottom. Some of the best reefs and wrecks are no more than a few hundred yards from the shore, and yes right near the navy base. So the places wher Capt Dan took the customers are loaded with fish. We cannot control what the person looks at or what the wild creatures of the ocean do to avoid the unfamiliar humans in the water splashing and making noise.
This group that claimed to have such a terrible time also gave Capt Dan a 60.00 tip. It is perfectly normal for anyone who had been ripped off so bad to give a tip of 60.00. When I received the call two days later that they were not happy with the trip I asked why. She stated that they had a great time but we're not able to witness the same sea life they saw on the discovery channel. I explained to her that the animals are wild and we do not control them by any means and we do our best to find what everyone is looking for in the timeframe that we have. She stated she does not like to complain but felt I should know this. I told her I understand and am sorry they did not enjoy that portion of there trip. I offered to take them on another trip for free but they declined saying they had already left.
To recapp we gave the individual's extra events, extra time on the water at no charge and offered to take them out again for free. If this is a pirate then everywhere I go I hope there are pirates. If there were more pirates like us in the world it would be a much happier place.
