We loved this adventure! It’s a unique evening activity that brings you close to the marine life with a knowledge guide that gives you opportunities to do things like hold a lobster. The beautiful lights under the kayak made it possible to film the water below and attracted fish! The best part was, for us, the quiet, calm water and cool breeze at night. It was a welcome break from the hot crowded tours we took earlier in the day. Parents: we took our 10 year old on the 10pm tour and we’re surprised to see other kids as young as 3. All the kids did great! Our family took a little nap after dinner and before the outing which might have helped.

Beautiful experience, terrific concept. I hope it's ecologically ok, particularly if people start doing it all over the place. We saw interesting things and the guide was helpful and knowledgeable. I'd up the price a bit and shrink the number of participants for a more intimate experience that covers more territory. Fewer people may also mean and fewer novice kayak paddlers crashing into each other, which did get old.

Went on the sunset outing to Great White Heron wildlife refuge with our guide Turtle. He was knowledgeable and obviously knew the area well. It was a great experience to get away from the usual group tours and watch the sunset from a privileged vantage point. Getting out on a boat is the best way to experience nature in Key West and I highly recommend this company for the guide and their boats. Wonderful experience all around, so much so that we hope to do it again in the coming days.

We took several boat related tours while in the Keys, and this was our favorite by far. Brandon was a very knowledgeable and attentive guide. The double kayaks worked out well for our family of four. We all had an excellent time! It was a little chilly in November, so a sweatshirt and/or long pants is probably needed to be comfortable. We all got a little wet as well, but probably due to having our inexperienced 10 and 12 year old kids helping us row. Athletic quick-dry clothing is helpful. You are required to be barefoot, as shoes might scratch the plexiglass bottom. There's a large metal box at the dock where you can leave your valuables and Brandon locks it all up when you leave.

Photography is a little tricky. The light on the bottom of the kayak is very bright, so photos taken through the bottom down into the water usually turn out well. Our kayak got a little wet due to my 12 year old son's overzealous rowing, so towards the end of the trip my camera was focusing on the water droplets on the kayak bottom instead of past it into the water. Taking photos in the mandrake grove and of other people was a challenge--there's a very bright light from the kayak bottom but everything else is dark, so it takes some playing with settings to get the right lighting (and this is not easy to do while trying to row and keep your camera dry!) Most point and shoot cameras won't do well on this, but a larger expensive camera would be cumbersome and has a risk of getting wet. My Canon Powershot G9X Mark II was the perfect compact size with some setting options that did pretty well.

I can’t recommend this tour highly enough! Brandon, our guide, was very kind and patient. Clearly enjoys what he does. He would scoop up various sea creatures and let us all have a look, while telling us about them. A great trip for all ages! We started right on time with a safety briefing. Equipment is in great shape. The tour takes you straight into the mangroves, then to the far side of Cow Key. I do have a knee issue, and called ahead to make sure I could get into the craft without trouble. Pawel, the manager, reassured me that they could meet my needs. And they did. Great customer service. Highly recommend!!

At first sight, it appeared intimidating, but proved easy peasy. My husband and I decided this as the last event of our 3 day stay in Key West. It was exciting and so amazing to see the underwater life intimately in our separate kayak. Brandon was knowledgeable and quite the character, picking up sea creatures and showing them to all of us kayakers. His ability to navigate the water and mangroves, knowing just the right area to hi spend time, i.e. checking out sleeping iguanas, and seeking octopus! Absolutely loved this experience.

Brandon was the best! He is funny, incredibly knowledgeable about marine life AND easy on the eyes!! If it weren't for Brandon, it would be a regular kayak trip but he was jumping in and out of the water to show us all stuff; octopus, lobster, star fish, jelly fish, mangrove "needle". I learned SO MUCH! Two in our group used paddle boards (the only ones) and they did great too. This is a must do when in Key West.

My daughter and I took the night tour and it was AWESOME!! Our guide Brandon was super knowledgeable about all different species that we saw. It was my daughter's first time going solo in a kayak and he took the time make her feel comfortable. He even got in the water to make sure everyone could see some of the amazing ocean life that you wouldn't normally see during the day. It definitely wasn't just a sightseeing tour, my daughter and I definitely learned a thing or two from Brandon. THANKS AGIAN!! We'll definitely be back..

Night Kayaking with Brandon was amazing. You can tell he loves what he does and wants people to have a good time. He was very informative and he made it a good learning experience.. He told us all if we see something AWESOME to let him know and he would jump in and get it to show us. He found a lobster and who ever wanted to hold it got a chance to do so. I would do this again in a heart beat. We checked into going again the next night but the kayaks were spoken for. I would love it if there were private individual group night kayak tours that were longer just to be able to explore more. Have seperate tours for inexperienced people, the experienced, and the advanced just so you do not have the inexperienced slowing you down or getting stuck in the man grove area. Nothing negative about this at all but just some good advice if you have the staff to do so. I highly reccomend this place for the night kayak.
