Perfect place to watch the sunrise

We drove here one morning to watch the sunrise. It's the perfect place to watch it and get good pictures.

Great for viewing fish and crabs, although the crabs are hard to spot. Lots of marine life and the ocean waves are forever soothing. Beautiful water and an uncrowded place to soak up the sun. And at the entrance to the pier there is a scaled map of the keys embedded in the concrete, very good map - better than... More

A very good pier that you can ride your bike on or walk out. Plenty of spots to look into the clear water and see marine life.

You can see breathtaking sunrises and sunsets from this pier. Moving Aids Memorial at the entrance too. And, the black grave yard there was so well done. Extremely thought provoking. We cycled down to the pier most evenings from a family members home. Well worth going to.

A nice spot to walk along, taking in the sights over the water. Easy to find, not too crowded, worth a stop.

From the pier we have seen stingrays, little sharks and mantas, as well as various little fishes, crabs and snails. Many different sea birds to view. Very nice place to unwind, because it is not crowded.

The Aids memorial, close to the roadside is a reminder of lost friends etc. The pier though is basically just a lump of uninteresting concrete with little to admire about it.

Nice long pier with seating along each side. It's a good place for walk and to see a little sea life.

We biked out there twice, on the pier. Did not see many fish being caught, but most weren't there for food. Nice walking or biking. Highly recommend.

This pier is next to Higgs Beach and is a pleasure to walk on from the beach. Its a wide, concrete walkway with built in benches, lights, and sturdy railings to lean over and gaze out at the blue ocean water. A large number of people can gather there for family photos, or walking your dog on a leash----without disturbing... More
