Ryan picked the perfect location for fishing, with my dad's age (89) in mind, and it was perfect for him! Ryan also did a couple of things that were above and beyond (like dropping the net down for my dad when he caught a little bit bigger fish, so he didn't have to struggle to reel it in, lose it or be embarrassed he didn't have the strength to land it.) Ryan was also thoughtful enough to bring a chair for my dad because he knew he would have to rest after catching a couple fish. I recommend this company for anyone who wants to get a taste of fishing in the Keys. But I STRONGLY recommend it for senior citizens and children! I owned a fishing boat in Key West for many years so i know how challenging it can be to have young children or seniors in a boat. With Landboat Charters LLC, nobody gets seasick, customers can leave at any time if they get tired, need to go to the bathroom or get a snack. It is also an extremely budget friendly alternative to a boat charter. We parked our car and only had to walk about couple of yards to meet Ryan, who already had all the poles baited and ready for us. On top of that, Kristi (who manages the reservations) is extremely pleasant, responsive and flexible! I probably wasn't the easiest client to deal with because I couldn't commit to firm plans or dates in the beginning, but she just rolled with the punches and made everything come together in the end! 5 stars!!!!

My brother and I fished with Ryan off of the Kemp channel bridge. We caught a lot of fish. Although we wish they would have been bigger it was a blast. Ryan was very well prepared and taught two mid-west boys how to fish off this bridge. Really enjoyed it!!!

Our family had a blast with Ryan and Popeye. They brought all the gear, baited the hook and removed the fish. Afterwards the fish were cleaned and ready for us to cook. Even those who are not into fishing had fun.
We didn’t catch a lot of keepers, but it was well worth it.

My wife and I had a great few hrs with Ryan fishing off Edward b Knight Pier,Key West. Previously been so sea sick fishing so finding a land based trip was great. Lovely location, fishing into the sunset… definately recommend these guys!!

We had a wonderful day fishing! Ryan was an awesome, fun and attentive guide! Ryan fillet our catches and we took them to nearest restaurant and they cooked them for our lunch. It doesn’t get any better than that! The Giant Grouper, ray, sharks and our Pelican buddies made for some extra entertainment as well.

Fantastic day with Landboat Charters! The four of us had a blast fishing, catching a variety of species. Ryan's dedication kept us on the fish the whole time. Highly recommend for an amazing outing!

What a great morning with Ryan! Great time with the family catching various kinds of fish and some great keepers that were delicious cooked up that night! Ryan makes it fun, easy, and he knows his stuff! Great guide - the kids and I loved it.

The best experience! We had two boys (10 & 12) who couldn’t wait to go fishing. Last year we went with someone else on a boat & had a horrible time. This year we decided to try Landboat. It was great bc the boys could fish & sister could still enjoy herself. We got the boys situated with dad & then we were able to go grab a coffee & snack & come back. The boys had a blast. Popeye was our guide & you could tell he really enjoyed himself as well. We’ll definitely be back!

My husband and I enjoyed this experience very much! There is nothing like having someone take care of your bait and catch!! It was educational, fun and lately has been delicious as fish tacos! Relax, fish and enjoy! LandBoat Charters makes it is easy!

We spent an evening with Popeye and had a blast! He is a great guy to spend a few hours fishing with, hilarious and full of local knowledge. We are very experienced fishermen, but the bridges were a new experience, and he helped cut our learning curve significantly. We were on fish literally in the first 2 minutes and had non stop action after that. Once he realized we had the hang of things he just busted his rear end keeping multiple lines baited and in the water. The knowledge he gifted us put us on fish the rest of the trip on different bridges. I can't thank Landboat Charters enough for having the vision to create this unique opportunity and solid experience. 10/10 would recommend even experienced people to book a trip!
