About
The BLUE ICE is a beautiful 47' Jeanneau Sailing yacht. She has been based out of Key West doing luxury Day sailing trips since 1998. We offer many options when choosing a key west sailing adventure. On our half day trip we have plenty of time to sail to the reef, do some snorkeling at our beautiful barrier reef, and enjoy some wonderful complimentary drinks and snacks. Our private sunset sails are also a very popular romantic choice. For extra fun, a full day is the one. All charters include complimentary beer, wine, champagne and assorted soft drinks. The captain and first mate will ensure your every need is taken care of. Make sure you do not miss what many call "The BEST part of our trip to Key West!"

We recently completed a snorkel and sunset cruise with Blue
Ice Sailing Charters last week. Hight recommend the extra time that includes Captain Ron's snacks and beverages!
The experience was amazing! The waters were warm, clear, and blue. Very cool to see a ship wrecked area from many decades ago.
Captain Bruce and First Mate Ron were so knowledgeable and friendly. Both provided a safe sail and outstanding care of the passengers.
The Sunset sail was beautiful and the crew continued to move the boat for the best views of the sinking sun. We could not have asked for a smoother sail and better experience.
Highly recommend this for families, couples, groups. It was the highlight of our Key West Trip!

This is probably one of the best experiences I have done in the Keys. I took a family of 4 with 2 young girls. Everyone had a blast sailing and driving the boat. Capt Bruce was very fun and knowledgeable. He taught us about sailing and living on a boat. Snorkeling was a blast Sage the first mate is a certified scuba instructor and helped out with all the snorkeling stuff. The sunset was amazing, and Captain Bruce is a great photographer. I highly recommend this company and would suggest it over any of the big boats that go our with lots of people. Unforgettable experience.

What a great way to spend the day with friends and family. The snorkeling at Sandy Key Lighthouse was amazing and the crew was top notch. Never once were we hungry or thirsty. I will absolutely book another trip on Blue Ice.

We did an evening sunset cruise for my partner’s Birthday I asked if it was possible to have a cake and they surprised us with an awesome cake you will see in the picture. They make this trip spectacular. So nice and special. Smooth sailing no engine unless they have to . One of the best we have done and we travel all over Ron and Sage were just awesome. Highly recommend this tour if you are in Key West .

The best birthday celebration ever! Capt Bruce and Ron provided me with a personalized key lime pie for my 73rd birthday. Capt Bruce also went out of his way to take pictures to help me remember this lovely sunset sail in Key West. It was wonderful to be offered a hug at the end of the trip. Will definitely book again next time we're in Key West.

We are so glad we booked our private snorkel and sail with Blue Ice. Even though the weather was a bit against us, our captain and crew made sure we had a great time and put us in just the right spot for some great snorkeling. You won’t regret booking with them!!

Bruce and Ron are expert sailors and engaging hosts. Bruce enjoys telling a story and his enthusiasm is infectious. You quickly feel you are conversing with an old friend. The snorkeling was seoncdary for us, but if you have never snorkeled "at sea", this would be the right introduction. You will enjoy it immensely. Great value, too.

Best part of our trip! Captain Bruce and First Mate Tina helped make this a sunset cruise to remember! Tina never once let our drinks get empty as she was already on the way with one as soon as we were finished. Our future son in law proposed to our daughter right as the sun was setting and Capt. Bruce took the most amazing pictures. It was PERFECT! Thanks so much!

Sailor's gotta sail! I wanted to sail and I had a blast. I changed the date of reservation and lucked out as a front came through that day and gave us nice 20-25 kt. winds to really get us going. Ron and Bruce were perfect and our whole family got to really "sail" that day. The libations provided were also a nice treat as well as the nice snack tray on the late afternoon. This was the highlight of my week in Key West.

Captain Bruce and First Mate Tina were INCREDIBLE!!!!! They were so hospitable and fun. We did the sunset sail and it was so relaxing and beautiful. Bruce and Tina provided incredible refreshments for us including a surprise cheese plate! And a champagne toast at sunset. Captain Bruce takes great photos! We had so much fun. I cannot recommend Blue Ice Sailing Charters enough.

I have a party of 2 adults, 2 twelve year olds and one three year old . Can the three year old attend?

Yes, that is no problem,
Just yesterday we had a 3.5 year old, and his 1.5 year old sister. We have life jackets to fit them, and the son loved standing next to the captain to help steer the boat!
