As the only air-service, we are by far the most exciting and convenient way to reach the Dry Tortugas, one of North America's most inaccessible National Parks. The Park lies in the blue-green waters of the Gulf of Mexico, 70 miles due west of Key West, FL. Low altitude sightseeing flight, great snorkeling, pristine beaches, tour Fort Jefferson & bird watching. Morning, Afternoon & full day tours.

This is a pricey trip but (IMHO) well worth it. The Seaplane crew has this down to a science, the flight out is amazing, and the time on the island and snorkling is stunning. On the flights you'll see tons of marine life: we lost...More

We love the information and details the pilots provide when the are flying us back and forth to the fort. They are all so knowledgable about the wrecks and the waters between Key West and the fort. We recommend the sky plane to everyone!

We decided to take the seaplane to the Dry Tortugas and I'm so glad we did! Not only is it the perfect amount of time on the island, but you get a much more interesting experience than taking the ferry. I could see tons of...More

This was an amazing trip, expensive but well worth the cost. The plane ride is half the fun. The flight takes about 40 mins, with you flying about 500 ft above the water. You can see turtle, sharks, rays ship wrecks from the air. The...More

We had a wonderful time at Dry Tortugas. It was a great Fathers Day excursion. Gary was a great pilot. Landing on water and taking off from the water is an experience everyone needs at least once. We did the half day trip and it...More

Key West divides the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico. The colors and sand drifts and tiny islands were amazing. We saw many of the beige sea turtles in the blue water. The flight was safe and smooth. The pilot was laid back and...More

Seaplane adventures have this tour down to a science. Cooler with drinks and a super pilot to lead the way. Take off and landing were as smooth as sailing. We took the 1/2 day trip and if the weather was better I would recommend the...More

The flight to the Dry Tortugas is easily one of the most amazing things you can do in Key West. While costly, it is very much high value. Whether for a half day or whole day, the flight and experience is unparalleled and a day...More

I think they would accommodate you. For us, we had a large beach bag for our things and had no problem.

We operate two DeHavilland Turbine Otter seaplanes. Each aircraft holds 10 passengers plus the pilot, giving us a capacity of 20 passengers for any time slot. All are window seats. Best, Key West Seaplane Adventures

The only way that can happen, (I know this for fact because it happen to us) is if the aircraft has mechanical problems. Trust me, skip the ferry. It's a long ride back and on that day, the sea was rough and we felt awful.
