As the only air-service, we are by far the most exciting and convenient way to reach the Dry Tortugas, one of North America's most inaccessible National Parks. The Park lies in the blue-green waters of the Gulf of Mexico, 70 miles due west of Key West, FL. Low altitude sightseeing flight, great snorkeling, pristine beaches, tour Fort Jefferson & bird watching. Morning, Afternoon & full day tours.

We took the 10 am sea plane to fort Jefferson and really enjoyed the half day. Half day is more than enough. Book early because they sell out fast we almost didn't get to go because we waited and most days were sold out. Great flight and views. Not sure the trip to the fort would be worth it if... More

We've been to Ft. Jefferson at least 5 times, all on the Yankee Freedom Boat. That is still great fun and totally worth it. However, we LOVED going by sea plane. The views are fantastic and we were there snorkeling the pilings an hour an a half before the boat got there. We pretty much had the island to ourselves.... More

The visit to the Dry Tortugas National Park was an awesome expereince! The fort is is really cool, the beaches are quiet and beautiful, and the snorkeling just off the beach is spectacular. KW Seaplane Adventures are a great way to see the park. The flight is only 45 minutes, and it is really fun to fly so low over... More

My wife and I took this ride to Ft Jefferson from Key West Airport. I got to ride in the copilot's seat which gave me a wonderful view of the ride. The weather was perfect and the pilot pointed out things of interest as we made our way to the island. The flight took about 40 minutes. We were on... More

My husband an I were on time and were met by a highly organized check in. We were given snorkel gear, which was in excellent condition, and a small cooler with our choice of two drinks. The rest of our group of about 10 was also on time, so away we flew with John the pilot. It's a small plan... More

I am not very fond of flying but I did like this one very much (first time I was relaxed in an airplane). The flight itself gorgeous. The plane flies pretty low (approx 600 feet) so you have a very good view over Key West, the green-emerald-blue seas, the islands/keys and finally Fort Jefferson on the Dry Tortugas. The Fort... Have had friends travel to the Dry Tortugas via the ferry and complained about how seasick they got, so we decided to splurge on the seaplane. Definitely worth the money, and gave us views of the island and waterways that we would not have seen otherwise, including so many sea turtles we lost count.

We really enjoyed our trip down to the Dry Tortugas. We booked a few days in advance and managed to get the 8am departure. This was good as we had the island almost to ourselves. The self guided tour of the fort is good but I was glad that we had been on the guided tour of Fort Zachary in... More

We flew to the dry Tortugas for the half day trip. They provided soft drinks and water in a personal cooler as well as snorkeling gear. It was great. I don't like flying or rides and my wife was also a little nervous. The trip was fine even with a storm nearby. Highly recommended.
