As the only air-service, we are by far the most exciting and convenient way to reach the Dry Tortugas, one of North America's most inaccessible National Parks. The Park lies in the blue-green waters of the Gulf of Mexico, 70 miles due west of Key West, FL. Low altitude sightseeing flight, great snorkeling, pristine beaches, tour Fort Jefferson & bird watching. Morning, Afternoon & full day tours.

I booked to go with Key West Seaplane Adventures out to Dry Tortugas as a surprise for my partner whilst in Key West. I contacted them after I booked it to ask if my partner could sit in the co-pilot seat during one leg of the journey. They said that should be fine and they will mention it to our... More

JUST DO IT. Well, look at all the positive reviews here, what more can I say. This is the best way to see the Dry Tortugas, and Ft. Jefferson, if you can sport the few extra bucks for the flight. Great staff, excellent pilot, comfortable, quick and fun flight. How many times have you landed (and taken off) on the... More

We were impressed with the staff and pilot. They were helpful and friendly. The pilot offered a lot of history and information about what we were looking at in the ocean as we flew over. We saw turtles and a nurse shark from the plane. It was beautiful. The fort was very impressive with great photo ops everywhere. The snorkeling... More

We spent a few days in Key West during a Florida vacation. We had discussed the Ft. Jefferson float plane trip on several occasions but never took it. This time we did and it was amazing. On the flight over we saw sharks, sea turtles and rays. The flight is quick (about 45 minutes at 500'). Fort Jefferson is huge... More

Took the 1 2 day trip, departing at 8:00am. Can't imagine a better way to get out to Dry Tortugas NP. Gary was the pilot and provided an enjoyable trip. He took time to explain what we were seeing without overdoing it. This option is a little pricey, but you are back in KW by noon.

This is a great trip to make! Seaplane offers a unique aerial view of Key West while providing transportation to Dry Tortugas. The plane flies low enough that you can see the beauty of the ocean and little islands along with shipwrecks and sea life. The flight was enjoyable and smooth. Plane holds about 10 people and they provide a... More

One of the most isolated and least visited National Parks. If you love outdoor beauty....you must visit. We took the seaplane...it costs more than the ferry but it only takes 40 minutes to get there vs. 2.5 hours. Take the first flight out or the last flight out. You'll avoid the ferry crowds. We took the 10am flight (should have... More

We researched ahead of time and knew that we wanted to visit the Dry Tortugas National Park during our Key West visit. The ferry trip takes 2.5 hours each way ( eating up 5 hours of the day) and has been reported to be rough at times. We decided on the Key West Seaplane and are so pleased that we... More

It was our first traveling by airplane and it was great. The only thing you should know is, when you get on the island (we took the whole day trip) you don't have any shades. So be prepared with enough sunscreen. The Fort Jefferson isn't really worth it. There is nearly nothing to see. If you go to Dry Tortugas,... More

We thought long and hard about spending $600 for a 4 hour round trip from Key West to the the Dry Tortugas National park. Once aboard, we were glad we decided to take the trip. Our Pilot Ryan is an experienced bush pilot who guided our 45 minute trip down to the park and back. The view was astonishing beautiful.... More
