As the only air-service, we are by far the most exciting and convenient way to reach the Dry Tortugas, one of North America's most inaccessible National Parks. The Park lies in the blue-green waters of the Gulf of Mexico, 70 miles due west of Key West, FL. Low altitude sightseeing flight, great snorkeling, pristine beaches, tour Fort Jefferson & bird watching. Morning, Afternoon & full day tours.

Perfect combo of professionalism and Key West attitude (our pilot Charlie was fantastic). Do yourself a favor and take this way to the DT over the ferry. Get there in the AM as the island wakes up for a 2 hour head start on the...More

Go for the day, it will be one of the best decisions you can make while you are at the Keyes. Be sure and get some snorkeling gear and swim out to the reefs.

Drove for 2 days from Indiana, just to see this incredible National Park. Office staff was so accommodating and determined to make the half-day trip worth every minute and dollar spent. Pilot John gave great narration out-and-back. Spent two hours inside the fort visiting every...More

We always wanted to go the Dry Tortugas and thought we would take the ferry. We decided to splurge and take the seaplane and what a great choice it was. Our pilot, Gary, was a former Alaskan bush pilot with thousands of flights flying amphibious...More

The Dry Tortugas National Park is a "must-do"... the beauty & history of Fort Jefferson is amazing. We just took our second trip with KW Seaplane Adventures, (thank you, Pilot Gary), and it was just as great as our first trip. Seeing the wrecks from...More

This is quite an adventure. Make your reservations in advance and try to get the 2 p.m. tour if you can as the boat tourists are leaving when you get there. You will have the place to yourself. Recommend spending a half-hour touring the fort...More

Charlie was our pilot, good chats with the guest. Nice ride, and commentary. Pilot informed us when. We saw pods of animals. I wish the sound/music was louder in headphones, but they did block out some of the external plane sounds. We had first flight...More

Going to the Dry Tortugas was amazing. Its history, beauty, and great snorkeling all in one. There are two ways to go, by boat or seaplane. Having never been on one we opted for the seaplane instead of the 2.5 hour one way choppy boat...More

I think they would accommodate you. For us, we had a large beach bag for our things and had no problem.

We operate two DeHavilland Turbine Otter seaplanes. Each aircraft holds 10 passengers plus the pilot, giving us a capacity of 20 passengers for any time slot. All are window seats. Best, Key West Seaplane Adventures

The only way that can happen, (I know this for fact because it happen to us) is if the aircraft has mechanical problems. Trust me, skip the ferry. It's a long ride back and on that day, the sea was rough and we felt awful.
