My husband, 14-year-old daughter, and I did a tour with Liam in Key West earlier this week. We could not have had a better time! Liam was a great tour guide, he took his time with us, explained some great history surrounding Key West, and insured everyone operated their machines safely. Thanks Liam, make sure your mom sees this, so knows what a great job your doing! 😊

BIG THANKS to Charley our guide in the around the Key West Jet ski tour. Charley, you were so funny, easy going and gave us so much information about the keys, the army trainning, the jets, the ecosystem and event gave some cues about good restaurants around the low Keys.
Ocean was hard, the morning we did our trip, but we had some much fun and driving fast is the key lol. Would recommend for people who would like to mix adrenaline and knowledge.

Went with our family which includes a 5 year old and a 6 year old. Our guide was Santana. He did a great job going over his expectations and jet ski safety . Headed out to the Bay and he let us tool around and sped around at our own pace . We then headed toward the navy air station and there was no pressure because we had the kids ... very relaxing, great time, highly recommend

The “tour” started with the two young male guides explaining how to operate the JetSki. Once we got going it was clear that this wasn’t a tour and merely a sprint to get around the island as fast as possible. There was also a storm and the water was extremely choppy but the guides were not interested in making sure everyone was safe. This is not my first time
Jet skiing and yet I felt very unsafe as I lagged behind the group due to getting caught behind very choppy waves. The second guide came back around to me and had me let everyone go ahead and put me at the end. This is fine except for when the guides stopped to give us “information” of the island, he started talking before the last 3-4 jet skiers even caught up to the group. Half the group couldn’t hear a single word and were lost. From what I heard, the only information I caught was that Taylor Swift just bought a house down there. That was the only “information” I got on this tour. And then it was off to the races again. They sprinted around the island and back to the starting point. Do yourself a favor and skip this tour. You’ll save yourself $300 ($150 a person) and you can get better tours on other excursions.

The 90 mins tour is good if you are a seasoned jet skier. Since it’s a tour you need to keep up with the group and once you are in you are in, you need to keep going and it was painful. The staff was nice and professional but they have a job to do in a prescribed time frame, so they will make you move along and not hang out or rest up. They will keep an eye for you but with a very choppy sea, rain etc it wasn’t a fun experience for us. The ride in the shallow waters was better.

We had a jet ski tour today 05/30 which exceeded our expectations, the guides were very professional and fun, once in the water we had an incredible time.
However we had a very bad experience with Gaby at the check in, she had a very different attitude with us compared to other people. When we told her about her bad attitude towards us, she was sarcastically defiant, we guess she was discriminating against us for being latinos, which honestly hurt our experience.

This jet ski tour really wasn't a "tour". We basically just rode the jet skis around for an hour and a half and would stop once every 30 minutes to make sure everyone was okay. There were not that many people on our tour so it was nice to be able to go faster and do our own thing, but I was not impressed whatsoever. I think it would have been better to rent jet skis somewhere on our own than to do this tour.

This is more like a jet ski ride at top throttle , not exactly a tour . There are 2 guides , one leading the group with faster riders next to him , slower , inexperienced riders (like us ) bring up the rear . The other guide leads you back to the group , in case you are slow or go astray ..Which we were n which we did .. she did her job , but we felt she was really rude . We are first time riders after all . This lack of patience coupled with the general nature of the tour really leaves a lot to be desired. And going fast in the choppy Atlantic waters was really scary and they did not warn us about this . Was just trying not to fall off . And they did not take us to the sand bar like they advertised .. If you are inexperienced riders and feel that you might need some time to get your bearings and don't generally like being yelled at , this might not be for you .

Nice jet skis, great tour guide (Dakota). He really gave us a lot information. We went all around the islands, the weather was perfect, the ride tour was spectacular. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Key West Jet Ski tour and rentals.

We tried the 90-minute tour and found that it was too long for us but the staff made sure we safe and had a good time. When we lagged behind they kept an eye on us and didn’t let us get lost. From checkin with Maija to on the water with Jake, we were taken care of. Both of us would recommend this Tour company.

My husband and I are going on a carnival cruise out of Miami, and Key West is our first stop. We LOVE to ride wave runners. I am not that thrilled with the option that carnival has given us. Are you close to the cruise port, and do others who take cruises (and have to be back to the ship by 4) choose you for an independent excursion? Also, how close to the port are you?
Thanks so much.

This jet sky tour is about 4 miles from the cruise port. It is actually on Stock Island. You would need a taxi to get there but I am sure one would be available.
What are the chances of encountering a shark? And if happens is it possible for the shark to bumb you off of the jetski? Im from chicago who will be visiting key west soon and im interested in jetskiing just not to thrilled knowing theres sharks out there!

No way. Maybe if you have the worst luck possible and fall off right next to a man-eating shark. Do you often walk into a lightning storm in clear weather? Sharks are rare. I often scuba dive in the Gulf and Caribbean, and almost never see one at all, let alone one that would even consider me as edible. I ride and fall off jet ski's all the time in the Gulf, swim back slowly to the waiting ski without a worry. Drowning, collision with your wife or buddy riding along nearby, these are the real concerns.
