I am sorry this group did not enjoy their tour. They were loud and disruptive from the time they checked in after having imbibed heavily before the tour. Ten minutes before tour time, they were demanding we leave. The tour left on time at 9pm. They were loudly talking so the other guests couldn't hear and the tour guide had to keep stopping and waiting for them to quiet down. There is an 8 minute introduction to every tour talking about safety, how to take pictures, history of the Key West name, and terms used, before the first ghost story at Casa Antigua. (Ted's tour) Everything is ghost related, even the introduction. This group left after half the tour. One of the guests sent an email saying she had talked on the phone for 45 minutes to someone and was promised a refund. She also stated that the tour guide talked about his grandpa for 30 minutes. That of course was totally untrue and shows how she wasn't listening to the tour at all. She never called and talked to us
or to our ticket seller. I didn't know who she had talked to that promised her a refund and told her to call that person back, as we hadn't promised her a refund. (Researched the number and found she had talked to a third party ticket seller that had not sold her the tickets and had nothing to do with our tour) Subsequent emails talked about how the tour was a scam. Our award winning tour has been operating for 15 years with certificates of excellence and consistent 5 star reviews. It is certainly not a scam. We provided a 90 minute ghost tour and it was their choice to leave. They didn't get a refund because they didn't have a legitimate complaint, and we provided what they paid for. You don't go to a movie and leave half way through and get a refund because you didn't like it. We always do our best to provide a quality tour and hope it is well received. Perhaps if this group had actually been listening instead of annoying everyone around them, they would have enjoyed the tour more!
