Great wreck, just a little new

This was a great dive. We did a double dip. I can't wait to come back after more time has passed to get more sea life growing on it.

It was my first wreck dive, and it was absolutely magical! The Vanderberg was sunk with scuba divers in mind, so its in great condition, with places you can dive inside. There's some sea life too.

The wreck was great as a deep dive for my advanced scuba certification. The water was warmer the deeper we went and we got to see some interesting sea life that you don't see on a shallower reef.

Love that it generally hangs out at 65'. Lowest I've been was 90' briefly and momentarily 115'. Saw a huge goliath grouper at one end. Highly recommended! Most dives in Key West are all reef and shallow which are beautiful but if you want a deeper wreck dive this is it, with plenty of history!

My husband and I went to Key West to get our advanced open water cert. and dove the Vandenburg Wreck. It was pretty awesome! We dove with Captain's Corner Dive Shop and had a great experience. After scuba we went to Conch Republic for fish tacos and calamari and had the BEST calamari I have ever had. If you like... More

The Vandenberg Wreck is fairly deep and is usually in a good deal of current. This is not a "jump off the back of the boat and swim around" dive, but one that involves tag lines, drop lines, etc. It is a spectacular sight once you have arrived at the Vandenberg and well worth the trouble, but you should have... Great conditions in Aug. Little current, ok visibility. 86 degree water temps. Recommend Capt's Corner diving on the corner or elizabeth & green street.

Spectacular wreck dive - the Disney World of wreck diving! I highly recommend this even for novice divers - just go with a guide. This was my first dive on this wreck and it was even better than I expected. You'll love it !
