One of the highlights of our trip to Key West

We did the 4 p.m. sunset excursion with 6 of us & it was amazing!!! I would highly recommend doing this & doing it at sunset on a clear night. We took a 33 mile tour around the entire island in about 2 hours on a BEAUTIFUL night and had a blast. I wish I had had my cell phone, go pro or camera with us to capture the views & sunset. We were able to "freestyle" jet ski on the calm side of the island for about 20 minutes and saw a dolphin which we followed for about 10 minutes. My son even tried to swim with the dolphin but he was too fast. I would highly recommend the experience. We did pay extra for some photos and wish they had taken photos of us on the tour (& the sunset views) but they did get some photos of our group before we got on the jet skis & just after we got on but just in the small cove before we headed out on the excursion.

Above and beyond customer service

I’ve never left a review before but I was blown away by the level of exceptional customer service displayed by this company. There was some miscommunication in the beginning with pricing, I was still willing to pay the new price given. The young men (roscoe, max, Dakota) at the stand suggested I wait for their boss Mike. I did and Mike was able to get the price right and was nice enough to give my family and I some more time out on the water for the inconvenience. The simple fact that These guys didn’t want me to leave there place of business feeling ripped off or unsatisfied meant a lot to me and I will be sure to always use these guys whenever I’m in the keys and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for jet ski rentals in the keys... I would leave 10 stars if I could for above and beyond customer satisfaction .

Best Sunset Cruise-Hands down

Kudos to Capt. Mike and First Mate Vanessa for an amazing and off the beaten path sunset cruise. Capt. provided all kinds of local knowledge, lore and insights on life in the Keys while Vanessa served up cool beverages and warm laughter. We stopped by the usual spots, cruised passed hectic Mallory Pier and then settled into a quiet, flawless spot for the Eagles Peaceful Easy Feeling and a gorgeous sunset. Unexpectedly we happened upon a school of dolphins and they let us linger to enjoy them. The cruise comfortably sat 30 guests and the sushi, charcuterie tray and beverages were truly top notch. This was a highlight of our trip!

Jet Ski Tour

While we were 15 minutes late getting started due to waiting on a couple people, the trip was extremely enjoyable. Our guide, Robbie was friendly, polite and knew his way around the island and the history, as this was not his first job since coming to Key West. He kept a close eye on all of us, novice and experts alike, making sure no one got left behind. We had 20 minutes of free run, and then followed him around the Keys from the Gulf to the Atlantic and then back again. I for one was very glad the waves on the ocean weren't more than 4 feet because that was a little bit rough lol. However, being used to Lake Superior, the spray from the Atlantic at a balmy 70+ degrees was refreshing. Definitely a must do activity and no license is necessary for someone wanting to drive a jet ski.

Fast, Fun Island Tour, and Fantastic Tour Guides

We reserved a jet ski island tour with Barefoot Billy's and it was fantastic! Tour guide (dark hair, dark round sunglasses) was thorough, gave great directions, and wasn't uptight. The water was fairly calm, so we got to go as fast as the machines would go, got mine to 54mph! The freetime in the gulf was exceptional, clear glass like conditions, made for a lot of fast fun and maneuvering. We traveled 28 miles over 90 minutes with 6 stops along the way to learn some history and pointers about our visit. Suggest doing this on one of your first days, the guides are water concierges!

The location is hard to find, its behind the Waldorf Astoria and the gate is locked, so you have to shout over it to the attendant to get access. Little akward.
Highly recommend.

Jet Ski Tour was great!

They had the best well-kept jet ski equipment from all the other tour companies. We departed from Casa Marina Resort on their private beach which had plenty of space for social distancing. Just in general I found that Key West offers so many outdoor things to do that it made me feel completely safe at all times. Our two jet ski tour guides were great and informative. Also, if you are looking for a high speed thrill seeking adventure you chose well. Everyone in my group seemed to be pretty experienced so they went 45+ miles an hour. There was a nice stop in the middle of the tour for swimming and since we did the sunset tour the weather & water were just lovely!

Great trip - Great value

We booked the Sunset Cruise on 02/04/2020. We were picked up at our hotel and transported to the boat. Once on board we were invited to a large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. There was also delicious light food served which included cheese, sausages, crackers, bread and sushi!!
Capt. Tony made the trip great by providing an interesting narrative about Key West and kept the ride comfortable by adjusting our route when he noticed the waves getting a little rough.
This cruise would be great for any age as there is easy access on and off the boat.
Definitely a fun time, a great value and I highly recommend this cruise!! I also got a pretty cool picture as the sun was setting!!

Well worth it!

Excellent JetSki tour from Barefoot Billy's. Price was reasonable, definitely recommend couples each get their own JetSki- too long of a ride to do tandem without being uncomfortable!
We actually own a JetSki at home, so we have experience; enjoyed this tour very much.
Toured all around the island, including under the bridges- Milo was a fantastic tour guide who would periodically stop to tell us about what we were seeing on land and in the water. Opened it up full throttle at times, but always with an eye on safety. It was nice touring with them from the Reach- it was just the two of us so we had a nice small group of 4.
Would definitely recommend!

Jetski tour with Bob!

First and foremost I want to say the entire crew is absolutely phenomenal. Very considerate, polite, and helpful. Our guide Bob made our trip an experience we will never forget! He was absolutely amazing! He would let you go at your own pace (whether it be fast or trying to keep up), gave us 20 minutes of free play in a very large open area- it was a blast! He was very informative, we luckily got to see fighter jets flying over us- probably the coolest thing I’ve ever experienced. He didn’t leave you confused on what to do and as a first time rider he made me feel confident and comfortable. You certainly get your money’s worth and will not be let down, I’m sure the other guides are great but there is absolutely no way they can be as great as Bob- highly recommend requesting him if at all possible.

Thanks Bob! You rock!

I would highly recommend this group for the Jet Ski tour. We were originally scheduled for the snorkel tour however due to weather they had to cancel and offered us the jet ski tour instead which was awesome. The tour guides are great and it was a lot of fun... It will not disappoint you by any means...thanks again for the wonder experience. Even if you jet ski at a lake the ocean is a lot different and worth every penny.
