We were there today and bundled this with the shipwreck museum. The $80 something we were charged for 3 people for both were way too much. I understand it’s a historic building and older and also we have covid restrictions in place but there is also a large part under construction. They should have discounted the admission because of all these. Displays also were all a bit same. The people working were very nice though. Don’t thing I would visit. Or recommend

I would not recommend. I paid $16 to visit this aquarium. I walked into one large room with fish tanks along the walls and a pool in the center which had two sea turtles (the only reason I did not request a refund is because I hope the money goes towards rehabilitating the sea turtles they have). The one room as the only portion of the aquarium that was open but did not feel it was worth anything near the cost to get in.

Yikes. Touch tank is shut down (covid) which is absolutely ridiculous.

Another very large part of it is shut down for construction, and yet they don't offer reduced admission.

This place WAS great, but from here on out, you'd be better off spending your money on something else.

Perhaps there are times in your life where you've felt completely ripped off. This will be one of them. Sure, the staff are young, courteous, and helpful. But after you pay the somewhat high entrance fee, you enter into a room where you might utter the words "Is this it?!" or perhaps you'll utter the word "Pathetic" if you have been to any other aquariums in your life. Here, you will enter a dark, dank, cramped, old aquarium with limited displays before being ejected into a gift shop labyrinth.

What a waste of money and time. Besides being very small, one poor sea turtle and two stingrays are confined in a very tiny kind of pool with no rocks, no plants, nothing resembling the bottom of the sea, they just keep on swimming back and forth.
Outside you will find a bunch of land turtles, again, in a very poor and sad environment, bit dirty and noticeable abandoned.
Some of the little tanks do have beautiful marine species (seahorses, flying fish, some very colored and exotic tropical fish) that seem to be in good condition and well taken care of but, at the end, you get the sensation that you were expecting something better.
It is not worth it, specially for the price!!! More than $20.00/each???!!!! In these current conditions even $10.00 would be too much.
Look for some other place and/or something else to do.

We went to the aquarium. We thought we could spend about half the day there, but once we arrived, it was about one hour of fun. Only about five or six displays on each wall of fish, and then a touching tank, and then some turtles and Shark saying that was about yet. Extremely small. Kind of boring. Great for young kids.

Is it Sea World? No. Is it the Atlanta Aquarium? No.
It's not fancy and does show its age a bit. But if you have kids with you that even show a minor interest in sea life, spend an hour or so here, cooling off. The staff does a good job educating you about local sea life and eco systems. There are interactive talks at different stations throughout the day. We got there very late one afternoon and the attendant told us she wouldn't stamp our tickets and that we should come back the next day to see more of what is on the schedule. We did exactly that and our daughter was more than eager to return. Once you've walked around all day and need something cooler in the blistering afternoon heat, grab a frozen drink at Fat Tuesdays or Flying Monkey, and enjoy it while walking around this aquarium. Trust me. ;)

Worst $45 ever spent on an aquarium. There was barely anything to see. Couple stingray’s, 5 sharks in a shallow tank,1 sea turtle that you could barely see from the dark water. VERY DISAPPOINTED 😢

there wasn't much to see, the Hands On thank was not being used, seemed like the windows to view fish was cloudy.

paid $16.00 x 2 of us, and were in and out in 30 minutes.

not worth the money for me. I was expecting more.

They try. It just doesn’t compare to other aquariums, is more than a little run down and overpriced.
The fish weren’t even interested at feeding time.
Manta rays swimming in a concrete pond with an inch of sand, no interesting rocks or sculptures to swim around or explore. Sad life.
