Booked and paid for charter. Captain never showed up. Phone number listed on business isn't his current number and he never answered the new number that was provided. Phone was turned off after a few calls. Not sure what happened or what is currently going on with him. Do not book online without first talking to someone.

We booked Capt Dave for a half day fishing trip and it couldn't have gone any better. The boat was clean and comfortable and well stocked with gear, chum and bait. We caught several Bonita and Yellow Tail, and even a shark. Our teenage son and adult son with Down Syndrome enjoyed their interactions with Capt Dave and the entire experience. At the end of the day we took our Yellow Tail fillets to Hogfish Bar and Grill on Stock Island where they prepared them for us.

First off Captain Dave is the coolest guy who knows exactly what he’s doing and where to fish. Within 30 minutes of being on the water dad and I were reeling in our snapper. If you’re a novice there’s no other way to describe this than exhilarating. Dad is 75 and he was smiling ear to ear after pulling multiple fish out of the water. Tip: Go early. We ate our catch for lunch that same day and frankly it was THE best fish we had on the island. Note: some fish are protected like the angel fish in the photo and you’ll have to toss them back.

My 5 year old son and I recently went out with Captain Dave and I can honestly say it was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. It was my son’s first time saltwater fishing so I wanted to make sure we found a captain who would be willing to take a little guy on the water. I don’t think we could have found a better captain. Dave was incredible with my son, showing and explaining everything to him but at the same time making sure that we always had bait in the water and were working on getting another fish on the line for Angelo to bring on board. The first fish was a monster flag yellowtail. We caught a few other keepers for dinner and fought a few big ones for fun. Near the end of our half day, Dave took us back into the reef where Angelo was able to hook up with dozens of little snapper that made for great practice and at the end, with Dave’s help, landed his first barracuda. We will fish with What’s Kraken every single time we return to Key West and will recommend them to anyone who wants to have a great time on the water. Dave made it an amazing experience that Angelo and I will never forget.

A great trip, lots of action. 100% recommend!! Captain Dave was great. Boat and gear is excellent. By far best fishing charter we have done. We have fished Hilton head and Aruba, key west with captain Dave was the best.
