Lovely tour

Great tour by Rene on Christmas Day! Plan for about an hour. It's a little historical gem in Key West - nice escape from the heat too!

I put this up there with the Hemingway house as one of the two most preserved spots on the island for a trip back in time.

Perhaps the best part of the museum was to recognize how much things have changed in the past 70 years. This modest building was a presidential retreat for Harry Truman during his term in office. For that perspective alone it is well worth visiting.

Our tour guide, Bruce, was great. He was a good storyteller and knew a phenomenal amount of information. The tour slowly moves from room to room in the house so you have to be comfortable standing for a while. May not be great for young kids. Our party was all adults and really enjoyed it.

We visited this attraction. It was interesting and a decent visit. Our docent, Rene, was knowledgable and nice. If your goal is to get a view of how Harry Truman spent his time here, you will be satisfied. If you really want to get some insight into who Truman was and how his presidency was, you will be disappointed. Good... More

We went on this tour and after all the other things we have done this was very interesting too see. We come to Key west every year and this was something we had not done. Very historical and in the same condition as when it was used.

An interesting piece of recent history, not matching the real White House but these small détails which help to understand.

We just arrived in Key West and our first stop was the Truman Little White House. We are history buffs, and have seen the real White House, Roosevelt's house and Little White House, so it made sense to see this one as well. I really did not know about this home, until researching for this trip. What a great history... More

We did not get to see this the first time we went to Key West but got to the second time. Very interesting and worthwhile, especially if you enjoy history. The guide gave great personal details of the place.
