My husband, myself, and out adult son with autism hired Sherry (and Spirit) for a 1/2 day adventure on Sunday Sept 27th. Our goal was to see the Dolphins and 2nd to go swimming on a sandbar. The boat looked brand new and was fully equipped. Sherry is the utmost professional and after showing us where everything was on the boat, she gave a very thorough safety lesson. Sherry is extremely personable and is also a wealth of information and even entertaining. Not
only did we see many dolphins up close and personal but we learned all about these pods.
She showed us how shallow the ocean is in some areas and lucky for us, the water was crystal clear. After visiting with the wild dolphins, which was very exciting we went to a sand bar and had a delicious swim. Wr had a great day with sherry and i would highly recommended her to anyone. Thank you Sherry and Spirit for a fabulous experience

My pup and I needed an escape. We are doing the social distancing thing but wanted to also have some fabulous new experiences. Captain Sheri provided us with that fabulous exciting escape. As she searched the waters for new dolphin friends, we relaxed on the boat and enjoyed the breeze on a hot day. She stopped at a sandbar and let us take a refreshing dip in the crystal clear water on the gulf side of Key West. My pup enjoyed cooling off as she floated in her life jacket and I enjoyed the soft sand. Unfortunately, the dolphins were hiding most of the day. None of the other tour boats were able to encounter dolphins. Captain Sheri was not content in ending our excursion without a dolphin encounter. She extended the tour without charge until she brought us to a large group (at least 15 dolphins). My pup was ecstatic- she yelled out to her new dolphin friends, and the dolphins came up to the boat, turning on their sides to gaze up at their new furry friend. As I held on to my Pup’s life jacket allowing her to enjoy the experience, Captain Sheri was taking photos that she later sent to me. It was the most amazing experience, and my sweet pup and I will never forget it. Thanks to Captain Sheri, a nature lover committed to bringing the joy and the beauty of The Keys to its visitors.

Sheri was a wonderful captain for our afternoon adventure. She takes very good care of her boat and it shows. I was very impressed with her ladder which she mentioned was custom made to make it easy to get out of water. Her puppy named Spirit was super friendly and added to the fun for my kids. We came in October so visibility was not as good as summer. We learned a lot about dolphins. We also did a shallow reef snorkel stop. I also needed to stop and do a special tribute at a specific gps location which Sheri was super accommodating. Sheri has great character and I recommend her to anyone wanting to get on the water and have some fun.

I am so glad we did this trip. Sheri is extremely knowledgeable and knows exactly where to go to see the dolphins. You can tell they know her boat, and they come right up when she starts playing music. You can tell she really cares about them and works with other captains to respect their home. We saw so many dolphins, and what’s so great about Sheri’s boat is she caters your trip to how you would like to spend your time. We wanted to spend more time with the dolphins, and snorkeling just at the end. This was truly a magical experience only made better by Tara and Sheri’s pup Spirit who was excellent at her dolphin spotting job!

Our Wild About Dolphins Tour was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Key West!
Booking a trip was easy, and Sheri reached out multiple times to communicate beforehand about the details of the trip. Her top priority is clearly ensuring that you have a safe, memorable, and fun trip.
Her boat (Amazing Grace) is clean, well-equipped, and perfect for me, my husband, and our two dogs. It would also certainly be possible to have a slightly larger group of people on board too. She has some waters/juices, sunscreen, and snorkeling gear you can use.
It is clear that Sheri really knows what she is doing, as she has been giving dolphin tours for many years. While we went in with the expectation that we may not see dolphins, we ended up seeing a bunch on a gorgeous day in April and that was AMAZING. We even got to snorkel a bit in some of the beautifully clear waters around Key West.
Sheri is kind, welcoming, knowledgable, and you can tell she loves what she does. My dogs had a fantastic time as well which is a bonus for me!!! I would rate this more than 5 stars if I could and it will definitely be on my list of things to do when I come back to Key West. This is the PERFECT way to spend a day on the gorgeous waters of Key West.

We chose this tour as a birthday present for our 9 year old granddaughter. There were 6 of us with Sheri and her golden, Spirit. We had a fabulous day! Sheri tailored the trip to the 9 and 5 year old aboard perfectly. We saw lots of dolphins, some training their baby calves and learned a lot. Sheri also let others know where we’d found the dolphins after we’d had plenty of time with them so they could also enjoy their beauty. The music she played really seemed to connect with the dolphins.

Our experience with Captain Sheri and her beautiful dog Spirit was amazing! It was so easy to schedule our tour and pay online prior to our trip. Sheri communicated via text, email and phone prior to our trip to make sure we knew what to expect, what to bring and how to meet up with her and Spirit. Captain Sheri listened to our wishes and concerns and catered our trip specifically for us. She made sure we were safe and comfortable. The dolphins came right up to the boat and we saw about 15-20 of them. We also swam on a sand bar for the first time and snorkeled the reef. An amazing and memorable afternoon and what a way to celebrate our 22nd wedding anniversary. We highly recommend Wild About Dolphins!

We booked a private boat charter with Sheri so we could bring our dog on her first dolphin excursion. Sheri brought her wonderful dog, Spirit, who immediately made our pup feel much more comfortable. Sheri kept in communication with us prior to the trip and was very flexible about the scheduling to ensure that we had the best weather conditions possible. She couldn't have picked a better day as we had the perfect boating conditions. Almost immediately upon departure we encountered hungry dolphins and, with Sheri's expert interpretation, we learned about their eating habits and other interesting facts about these fascinating creatures. As we cruised from the Atlantic Ocean side to the Gulf side of the Keys, we also viewed many different kinds of birds, as well as learned about mangroves and sea life. We stopped at a tiny island to let the dogs run and play. While the dogs romped, we relaxed and enjoyed the beauty of the mangroves and clear blue-green water. Sheri took lots of photos and videos to capture all of the fun moments during our trip, then we were able to air drop them to our phones. Our pup had the best day and we did too!

Captain Sheri is a treasure! She welcomed each of us (including my 65 pound doodle - Remi), and immediately put us all at ease! She provided cold water for Remi, and cold sodas and water for us! She freely shared her knowledge of the dolphins and their various communities around Key West. She played music for the dolphins, which they truly seemed to enjoy, as several came very close to her boat to interact with us! Captain Sheri offered great reference materials for us to identify birds and fish and other animals we saw on our adventures! After spotting numerous dolphins, Captain Sheri took us to a wonderful reef for us to snorkel. Always mindful of the environment, she explained the rules, and we were off the boat to enjoy colorful fish and large clusters of brain coral. She doggie sat my doodle to allow us to enjoy snorkeling! She spoke so kindly to him! (He has separation anxiety) All this to say, you will absolutely NOT be disappointed spending a few hours with Captain Sheri!! She was thoughtful to everyone on our trip! And she is very much mindful of the wonderful animals we encountered!!

I highly recommend Sherri and her co-pilot, Spirit (a beautiful and playful 2 year old yellow lab). She went out of her way to make sure we had a great experience. The day began with heavy rain, but Sherri checked the radar and re-arranged her schedule to find a “weather window” that worked for us, since it was our only day in Key West. Then, using her experience, as well as communicating with other captains, she found a number pods. The dolphins also cooperated by giving us a fantastic show, spinning, jumping and generally enjoying themselves. As Sherri predicted, the weather stayed mild and dry and we couldn’t have asked for a better day.
Thanks to Sherri and Spirit, a potential disaster turned into a fabulous day.

Yes, we offer a person rate - $99 plus 7.5% sales tax. We take a maximum of 6 guests per trip. Tours are from 8 am to Noon & 1 PM to 5 PM daily.

I highly recommend advance reservations as I have been getting fully booked 2 to 3 weeks ahead.

We do not swim with the wild dolphins on our tour. The Marine Mammal Protection Act prohibits harassing the dolphins & considers swimming with them as harassment. We spend time watching the resident wild dolphins from the boat and later we go snorkeling in a different area abundant with marine life.

Unfortunately, I am out of town visiting family in Michigan at this time. I will not return to Key West until mid-March. I personally run all of my tours so there are no trips available until I return. Please keep us in mind if you return to Key West on a future holiday.

We do have space available for your family for a private charter on Thursday on our morning tour - 8 am to Noon - the cost is $490 plus tax (all-inclusive). Our tour includes watching wild dolphins, snorkeling & more. Swimming with the dolphins is prohibited by the NOAA NMFS Marine Mammal Protection Act in the US. I would love to talk to you to provide more insight on our trip experience. You can get on our website through Trip Advisor. I can not post the web info here.
