Plenty of shops bars and restaurants to pass your time and great place to people watch.character of street changes as you move away from hub to nicer relaxing area with charm. Looked as though there was plenty going on at night.

It's kind of like Oxford Street in London. Nice to look at for 5 minutes but a tourist trap hell. Corny, fake and overbearing.

Thoroughly enjoyed wandering along here first thing in the morning, then we walked back along in the afternoon. I can't tell you how many people tried to lure us into shops with 'free gifts'.. Its not any fun constantly having to tell people no and...More

Shops and restaurants all along Duval. Lower half towards Mallory Square is a little more wild but even with Spring Break it wasn't outrageous. Always seem some interesting folk but fun anyways.

The southern end (3-5 blocks) is mostly bars with loud music and over priced beers (just like Bourbon Street but without good music). The next 4-6 blocks are tattoo parlors and trinket shops. The entire area smells of urine and puke most all the time....More

Duval Street in old Key West is an interesting mix of pubs, restaurants, art stores and Teeshirt shops. It's a good place for adults to party any day of the week for any reason. Everything is a celebration and almost every bar has live music....More

Visited during march/spring break. Walking around Duval St was fun for the family. It has options for all ages. There are many restaurants and bars, so eating or drinking isnt a problem.

What can I say about Duval Street, it has it all. Tons of bars, tons of good restaurants, tons of unique shops, quirky people, street vendors, drag queens and much more. What else could you want !

Depends on what end of Duval street you are on, and what you are looking for. One end (nearer to Mallory Sq) is where all the cheap, tacky and crowded bars are. We were here during Spring break and, honestly, you could smell the vomit...More

It is a perfect day trip up the keys! Be aware traffic can get heavy, but that is something we do every time, all the way to Islamorada!

I would suggest staying in a middle key like islamorada or marathon. The hotel rates are more affordable. I usually stay on islamorada but I stay in very basic motels. I spend most of my time outside anyway! I would suggest... More
